What shall I post about? The silly Durbin tweets or the sweetness of Sauli on twitter? From the ridiculous to the sublime. I have no anger towards JD for his tweets to Adam. I think it's odd that he could do so and expect to be greeted with open arms after the things he said about Adam "pissing off his fans" with his post-Idol pop-electronic music. It looks like James will be forced to abandon the heavy metal he was gonna bring back so perhaps he's learning his first lesson in thinking before spouting off & burning bridges. I just wonder how long this thing will stay alive. I DID hesitate to follow Sauli - for about one minute. Then I caved. I've seen several ugly tweets (from 2 people) so far and they have been blocked and reported by many on twitter. What are these people like in real life?  |

It is a M.A.C. event. They do two major meetings a year, and this is one of them! And they mentioned him before? Do you remember what they said? Yeah the last time they brought him up was Jan 2010. They showed the picture that is in his FYE CD insert with the black jacket with spikes on the shoulders, and said that they hoped to work him into an ad campaign in the future(Viva Glam - which Gaga and Cindy Lauper do for MAC), which got applause from the whole room. Yet it is a year and half later and nothing, so who knows? |

Adam's eyes are amazing, but I sometimes wish the photoshoppers weren't so heavy on the blur tool on his skin (he kinda looks made of silicone). (hides) ITA. He look gorgeous no matter what, but overphotoshopping is not my favorite look for him (and that makes him look "too" young for his age, IMHO), although I love the first one... I enjoy candid shots more 8-)    |

He would be so great in an Ad campaign ,I so hope that happens . I would not hold your breath for Adam to do an ad campaign for any mainstream brand. He is more likely to get to do his own line of cosmetics someday but not unless he has sustained success and is more widely known. This is directly related to the work I do and I have seen the research. Make no sense for the brand. Also, it is not the right time for Adam to do a lot of commercial endorsements -- IMO -- he needs to focus on putting out the best music he can. Not being a spokesmodel. ETA: I am racing between flights so sorry for the hasty post. I will explain more fully later but the time in not right for this for either side -- Adam or market -- wish it was different but it is what it is. |
