Maybe he will be duetting with him? (A completely random guess on my part - I'm not watching AI yet. Is he a good singer?) I have no idea. I might go check him out. I did notice that he was cute. lol I usually watch Idol, but have gotten behind this year and thought I'd start watching at the Top 10 mark. Don't know how he was brought to Adam's attention, except I think I read somewhere that he was being compared to Adam...punky haircut and pretty eyes, etc. ETA: I also noticed that he already has almost 100,000 twitter followers, which is a lot this early in the game. I have really enjoyed watching Idol this year (late to the game lol) and that guy caught my attention immediately, in fact he reminded me of Adam somehow. No, he doesn't have the same vocal range, but he's interesting, talented, well spoken, and humble. He was without a group for a while during Hollywood week, but he took it with grace. I find it really cool that Adam is following him. Not surprised either.

I'm wondering why fans so quick to forget that Adam's actually performing in one of Middle Eastern Countries. Dubai is probably one the MOST moderate city in the region, but they still have value/culture they have to uphold. And every performer/artist has to respect this culture. I am happy that there's no religion group that's standing outside the festival holding up signs to protest Adam, like we have here in the US or like one in Singapore. Also it's possible that Dubai has regulation like China, where Adam has to submit songs that he wants to perform and have to be approved by whatever government agency that handle it. Not only I didn't forget he is in a Mid Eastern country but I actually can't wait for him to get out of there... the very idea of an openly Jewish and openly gay man being there is making me quite uneasy tbh ...sadz at the world we live in...

Bieber became so hugely successful at such a young age. Hasn't Adam mentioned that he is glad his success came when it did because he wouldn't have had the maturity and perspective to handle fame when he was younger. Bieber never had the chance to be a normal teenager. And that is sad. I'm not a fan of Beiber but yes I wholeheartedly agree with this post. That's why so many teenagers movie stars also had problem with drugs growing up, the adults weren't there to help them how to handle fame. Though there're a few movie stars knew how to handle fame when they're young, they went to college and get their degrees and go back to acting and getting better.

Wasn't IIHY much shorter tonight? I didn't hear "long" band intros, just their names. And for me, I am glad Adam does what he wants! Too many different opinions from fans! and fans who were at the concert loving and enjoying it, that the most important IMO . Cannot wait for mine.

Wasn't IIHY much shorter tonight? I didn't hear "long" band intros, just their names. And for me, I am glad Adam does what he wants! Too many different opinions from fans! I didn't hear the whole show, only Underground to NCOE while DH was out . The audience certainly sounded excited from what I heard. I for one need to just learn to scroll better, I guess. I get awfully tired about the complaints about Adam being "late again" or that the mood is killed by certain songs or costume-change interludes or the choice of the finale. Hey, maybe Adam should change onstage like Gaga did during her last tour! And yeah, I tend to agree that maybe TP/AOBTD might be a better ending than IIHY, although I haven't been there so I don't really know. As fans, we (even those of us who never get to a live show) have a skewed view because we know every song and move of the "full" show. Probably most of the people at any one show haven't seen all the Youtubes, don't know what's been left out if a show needs to be shortened or changed for some reason, and are perfectly happy. Everyone is entitled to their opinions, but all of us are guilty of harping on our own pet peeves. Me included. This isn't directed at you, Patti! I've just been stewing about this for the past couple of hours and your post gave me the impetus to get it off my chest. Now I'll take a break and hope for a few good videos later! Yes,, teach those fingers to scroll and scroll ... scroll is your good friend..

Have to agree about judging a concert based on a periscope, ustream, etc. Everybody is entitled to their opinion though, so that's why I don't participate in these threads. I'm not able to attend the tour because tickets went on sale when my D was having a health crisis and I couldn't commit. So I'm going to live in ignorance with this tour. I don't want my opinion on it based solely on what is available online because it's not really an accurate representation. I'm so sorry about your D, I hope she's doing good now. And I agree with the bolded part, by not being in the concert we cannot feel the energy of the venue and audience and how the songs sounds live or when we actually see/hear/experience it in person not thru video. As advance as the technology we have not, it's still not going to capture 100% of a live performance.
