Not only I didn't forget he is in a Mid Eastern country but I actually can't wait for him to get out of there... the very idea of an openly Jewish and openly gay man being there is making me quite uneasy tbh ...sadz at the world we live in... I completely understand where you are coming from but I still want to give Dubai props and say how nice it was that the festival organizers, Radio DJ's, and the concert fans showed Adam much love and respect (except for the bottle thrower) and they appreciated his enormous talent and Adam as a person. Adam is definitely a UNITER not a DIVIDER!

I have no idea. I might go check him out. I did notice that he was cute. lol I usually watch Idol, but have gotten behind this year and thought I'd start watching at the Top 10 mark. Don't know how he was brought to Adam's attention, except I think I read somewhere that he was being compared to Adam...punky haircut and pretty eyes, etc. ETA: I also noticed that he already has almost 100,000 twitter followers, which is a lot this early in the game. I have really enjoyed watching Idol this year (late to the game lol) and that guy caught my attention immediately, in fact he reminded me of Adam somehow. No, he doesn't have the same vocal range, but he's interesting, talented, well spoken, and humble. He was without a group for a while during Hollywood week, but he took it with grace. I find it really cool that Adam is following him. Not surprised either. you got me to check Dalton out agree with everything you said ! ...shades of Adam circa 2009 in his look for sure(make up, emo hair, nail polish, even the chain hanging on his hip),charismatic, handsome, the only problem for me is the voice is not there... and he is from Texas! so, he should have no problem getting the votes! Is the voting on already?

Did Shosh and Warner Bros. Records give a promotional tweet after Adam's Dubai performance?

I'm wondering why fans so quick to forget that Adam's actually performing in one of Middle Eastern Countries. Dubai is probably one the MOST moderate city in the region, but they still have value/culture they have to uphold. And every performer/artist has to respect this culture. I am happy that there's no religion group that's standing outside the festival holding up signs to protest Adam, like we have here in the US or like one in Singapore. Also it's possible that Dubai has regulation like China, where Adam has to submit songs that he wants to perform and have to be approved by whatever government agency that handle it. Not only I didn't forget he is in a Mid Eastern country but I actually can't wait for him to get out of there... the very idea of an openly Jewish and openly gay man being there is making me quite uneasy tbh ...sadz at the world we live in... Ohh I agree but I actually responded to posters who's amused about certain things that Adam said or didn't do or the dancer wearing full dress. And but isn't surprising that being Jewish and openly gay performing in Arab country and we still haven't heard about a group of religious people protesting outside the venue. I wasn't really worried about Adam. Though when I saw Holly's all covered up in her picture the day before the concert, I was wondering what Holly would wear on stage. Though I'm going to worry of him performing in Russia, just because the last time he was in Russia the US embassy got a lot of threatening letters about Adam and of the anti-gay law they have. But I guess DMG/Warner will not let Adam go to these countries if the organizers cannot guarantee of that they will take care of him and his safety.

Is the voting on already? No, they are still working down to a top 10 where the public will vote. Dalton will be on next week in the second group of 12 who will be reduced to 7 by the judges, to go with the 7 chosen this week. So, it's still a few weeks before public voting. I watched a few of his Youtubes. There is one where he is singing with his sister, who is very good. You're right, the voice doesn't compare to Adam...at all. But he's cute and charming...lol.

Have to agree about judging a concert based on a periscope, ustream, etc. Everybody is entitled to their opinion though, so that's why I don't participate in these threads. I'm not able to attend the tour because tickets went on sale when my D was having a health crisis and I couldn't commit. So I'm going to live in ignorance with this tour. I don't want my opinion on it based solely on what is available online because it's not really an accurate representation. i so agree ,and i wish your daughter well no one can judge a concert by vids , i dont watch them much for this reason , much pefer to watch after to preserve memories , sad for you that you will miss this tour , i an lucky that i will get to some i europe but to all the nitpickers youtu.be/1qN72LEQnaU

Is the voting on already? I have been doing tons of RL these days but yes, I showed Dalton to my DH who didn't see it but I saw in a flash. There is something very riveting about Dalton. Love the piercing blue eyes and the sweetness. Not the same caliber voice as has been mentioned but there is something there.
