It's part of his horror movie obsesssion and is from a horror movie site. Interesting. Are we really so far beyond KKK evils that it's become a fun scary reference? Can't imagine a black person would be too psyched to see that pic. In western North Carolina there are members of the KKK alive and well and trees with plaques saying "hanging tree." It's a very old movie. |

In my ear the intro is exactly the same... why did she alway get away with this? I haven't listen to most of her album, but remember her describing that she wanted to mix hard rock and pop using similar language to Adam when he first described his mission statement for FYE. I can't imagine when he read what she was planning the thought didn't cross his mind. I wonder if he tried to expand on his original idea for # 2 if he would be accused of copying Gaga? It was almost an impossible task to try and create his vision when the time constraints made using mostly existing demos a must. But it speaks well of his vision and foresight that Gaga would try something similar a year later. The beginning is the same. The rest is not. IMHO I think it is important to remember that everything has already been done. There is no such thing as complete originality. Especially so in pop / pop rock. Someone will likely find something that sounds like something someone else has done on Adam's next album. Hope not but the probability exists. |

It's not about idea, if you listen to the two youtube on Chunkey's site, Gaga's using the exact same intro note to note.. from a metal band.. that's why people said she's stealing. I think people could've always have the same vision or idea to make an album that's mix between pop and hard rock but doesn't mean the result songs would be the same. |

Anybody watching the /Tony's. Hugh Jackman and NPH danced together. I'm watching.. awesome night of great talent.. Of course my thoughts of Adam are all over this stage. |

Been AWOL since my last post - thanks for all the birthday greetings. My son's birthday party yesterday was wonderful. As is common practice with his group, I was asked to do some "honoring" so I told stories of his determination, courage and faith to overcome so many hurdles along the way due to his disability. One of the guests was so moved she asked me to write an article in their monthly newsletter.
