I haven't listen to most of her album, but remember her describing that she wanted to mix hard rock and pop using similar language to Adam when he first described his mission statement for FYE. I can't imagine when he read what she was planning the thought didn't cross his mind. I wonder if he tried to expand on his original idea for # 2 if he would be accused of copying Gaga? It's not about idea, if you listen to the two youtube on Chunkey's site, Gaga's using the exact same intro note to note.. from a metal band.. that's why people said she's stealing. I think people could've always have the same vision or idea to make an album that's mix between pop and hard rock but doesn't mean the result songs would be the same. I don't think it is note-for-note the same. Gaga's repeats "do re mi re" over and over in that order. The other uses the same pitches (do re mi) but not in the same order as Gaga's and it's pattern changes within the intro. The strumming pattern is pretty much the same. I don't know how similar is too similar legally speaking.

OT again but these vids of kids reactions are priceless. Especially this one with 10 year old William on Osama bid Liden. Darker subject than Gaga but these kids are so articulate... ETA: here's another one on a Rebecca Black www.youtube.com/watchv=DzSuJt5mDPY

The tweet right before that was this: D_Copperfield David Copperfield KISS-themed mini golf course opens in Vegas. Sales of tongue skyrocket. Maybe there is a pic of Adam performing with KISS?

This came up when I was searching on U2 and RedOne. Early this year, nothing new but love the picture. www.ohthescandal.com/2011/02/14/adam-lambert-talks-new-album-acting-hopes/On the cloud. You are on the cloud right now. Message boards can be self hosted (ie on your computer) but this one is hosted by proboards and Q3 has permission to use and control this message board application for our group. If you have a gmail account, that is in the clouds. The "news" article I posted above is in the clouds in that the owner of the page is not hosting it on his/her computer but using a service. There's mention in this thread of an excel spreadsheet that shows all of Adam's concert. That spreadsheet isn't on an Atopian's computer it's in the clouds on Googles servers. If you use the web you pretty much are in the cloud.

Sorry, I posted and ran and was not very clear. I was going off on a tangent from your post rather than responding to it. I just thought it was interesting that Gaga and Adams " vision" for their albums' sound were so alike and that Adam was ahead of the curve with the idea. As far as the song in question, to my uneducated ears it sure does seem like the same intro. But I have no idea what it means or how often this happens mistakenly or on purpose. ETA: They look like new dots to me too.

Thanks for posting , I hadn't seen this before. One terrifying line. “I want this to be my album, and dive into it with what I’ve learned this year, and where I’m at personally with love and relationships,” he revealed. “Great music is personal and real. That’s what this album will be.” Sounds a bit like Taylor Swift, doesn’t it? I know Adam's too sophiticated but I HATE diary songs. It's a fine line between Taylor Swift and Adele. 8-)

But the application of clouds in the area of shared intellectual property -- music, videos, games -- is a very specific thing and part of a new business model. And the iCloud agreement that shares revenue for their Apple Cloud service with the major labels is a big deal because if means that the labels can now make money without selling any music -- just from storing it.
