I do not follow Daughtry so can't answer the question about Daughtry and 19M -- but since RCA Ed posted that Daughtry had new management, I believe it. He is in a position to know. But it must be new -- no press release.

Carrie is a big star -- and generates a lot of management fees. Fuller will keep his share as long as he can.

I've filled up my computer and Ipod with Adam pictures and now have started putting little framed pictures of him on my desk at work. People have asked me if he's a family member. I only wish.

I didn't mean to cause panic in the streets. I was trying to separate what I hope for and what I expect.

Some of the Tweets and posts after the "killer album" comment, had turned Adam #2 into a double platinum mega hit and we haven't even heard anything. Adam had the #29 selling new album of 2010 (Billboard year - 10/09-9/10) and that was called a sales "disappointment" in the press. I don't think fan should expect huge sales, but fan should celebrate when he has a hit.

Expect means that there is some degree of certainty, and I have learned there is no certainty in this business. So I hope but do not expect that Adam #2 will be a great album.

I expect I will love it.

I hope, but do not expect, casual music buyers to love it.

Yes, Adam #2 is being created under better circumstances than FYE but so many albums -- even really good albums -- do not sell that much.

I will wait until Adam finishes this album and I get to hear it before I set my expectations.

Making a great album seems to be a bit like making it big in the stock market. There are experts who study the market day and night, input every related figure from the last 50 years into a complex computer program, hob nob with insiders, have a history of success, but, still, can't accurately predict the future of the market tomorrow or next week.

If the music industry experts knew how to make a great album every time, they would. The figures Q3 shared with us the other day about what percentage of albums sell well was sobering to say the least. Only 85 artists sell over 250,000 copies of an album. That's an amazingly small number to me. Then, when you see artists who sell big with one album, and flop with the next, you realize what a crap shoot it is, despite a reputation, despite talent, despite working with the best.

I will say that Adam has the vocal talent to make an album that will sound sublime to me. He has the contacts and the backing, the time and the dedication, and he is very much in tune with today's music scene. All important ingredients. I can only cross my fingers and hope for it all to come together.
