Thank you Momtomany for your wonderful recap. You have such a gift for "saying stuff". My trip to LA was over so quick but I enjoyed every minute of it, because I got to meet so many fans and put a face to screen names. I went from overcast cold Portland to sunny CA. It was a shock because I usually don't see the sun until sometime in May. Adam, being a Cali boy, will never leave this. I went to both the Saturday and Sunday shows. Saturday was on the floor and 3 rows behind Eber. Eber stood up the whole time and was quite the proud dad. He stood still, for the most part, but I did notice him bobbing his head when Adam sang Lay Me Down. He stands a half head taller than most of the folks around so it was quite easy to spot him. Adam seemed to be looking his way a lot. Sunday was in the mezzanine and gave me a different perspective. I was able to see the layout better. I enjoyed the Saturday show better in terms of energy. I just don't know how Adam can do this night after night. Did you notice a bit of hoarseness Sunday? I may have imagined this toward the end of the show. Thanks to my travel buddies: Anita, Roz and Kathy. I had such a grand time. Missing you already and looking forward to the next show. Willowgarden...thanks for your great recap, also! So g lad you got to experience such great shows and the lovely CA weather! I would have loved to have been behind Eber to observe how he enjoyed watching his son perform to a SOLD OUT hometown audience! It can't get much better than that...seeing your son living his dreams!!

So true and just one of the many things that make Adam so special.
Alex @akalexander5050 9h9 hours ago I hv nvr seen any artist sing their lyrics through their body/emotions like Adam Lambert. 100% connection! Not just another song!

I am only sure about at least 3 of the LiveNation concerts but it is usual for the casino shows. Also it is what he did in the past. *** That said, I have very little info about the arrangements for these concert and was asked to guess. *** Alex has no cut of the gross from what I understand. My 34%, from the article I read, had nothing to do with what type of contract. It was from a business insider and that was the figure they said is about right after everything is paid, including management etc. That did not include merchandise or things like VIP tickets. BTW, my numbered, signed lithograph says #1700/3200. So I did the math & figured if 3200 was what they thought would be the total of #1 VIPs, that would mean Adam is getting just under a million for his M&Gs! $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ I have # 358 and # 1024 out of 3200. They seem to be giving them out randomly because my two shows were one after the other. I'm thinking that 3200 includes more of the VIP2s than VIP1s. They get numbered ones as well....just not signed and numbered. Not sure how much you would guesstimate for VIP2s as opposed to VIP1s.

So many write ups on Adam when talking about the end of American Idol.He had such an enormous impact on that show, the AMAS and he was right there when gay rights started changing American society.. Music ,politics, civil rights, and Adam seemingly a catalyst at the Apex of change.. historic really. I think music and Adam will be part of our history..through TV and POP culture.
I'm not sure how to put my feelings into words... all I can say is IMHO, Adam has had a big impact on more than music.
