Cassie, baseball major leagues is called the show. Did you see Bull Durham? LOL! I loved Bull Durham! "A good friend of mine used to say, "This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while." -- Nuke Laloosh

I was feeling a little bit sorry for myself until I just read the instagram post from the young woman who loved Adam and passed away too soon. That sad post is a gift to me, and others, I'm sure, who are returning to 'real life' after such an amazing weekend. We are blessed to have been there. You guys bring a smile to my heart as you wait for recaps from those of us fortunate enough to attend one, two, or all three final concerts of the TOH US Tour. So, instead of taking a nap, I'll utilize the energy from your posts and hilarious gifs, 'put paper to pen', and get busy. It'll be long; there's just so much to say . . . . I feel very fortunate to have been able to attend the final three shows... and now that I'm home again it feels like I'm waking up from a beautiful dream. What just happened this weekend? I loved the intimacy of Vegas, despite my aching feet after hours of standing, as it gave me renewed understanding and appreciation of Adam's magnetism and presence. Up close I felt completely consumed by his masterful transformations from fierce to seductive to playful and sexy to happy and joyful. Adam was back in full form and he delivered!!! He gave stellar performances on both LA nights as he was obviously energized by the crowd, but he may have been slightly loser the final night. Comparisons are probably subjective depending from which perspective/section you watched the show. I was in the Mezzanine the first night and really enjoyed getting a good overview of the whole show including the lighting and backdrops, plus it was cool to see that the crowd was very receptive up there. Especially during the upbeat numbers the majority of the balcony section was on their feet. The second night I was in the Orchestra section which felt like a dance party enjoyed by a very diverse crowd. Next to me was a young lady from Brazil who flew in the day before and saw Adam live for the first time. I gave her my aisle seat as the large person in front of her blocked her view a bit. She was really happy, sang along to all the songs, danced, and waved the Brazilian flag several times. Two gay guys in their 30's were to my right and this was their first time seeing Adam live as they remembered him from Idol. They talked about his incredible voice prior to the show, but were even more blown away after the first segment both by Adam's vocals and the production, and they were also happy to hear Mad World again later on and were especially excited about Fever The whole crowd loved him and was on their feet throughout the show, and Adam felt the love. It was wonderful. Highlights for me...The dramatic opening including "Welcome To The Show" which I find incredibly captivating on stage - I almost cried, Adam's red outfit which is a scintillating combination of fierce and sexy, the red mic stand that gets nice attention during Chokehold, the stellar production and incredible set list of the whole first segment - the Runnin medley is just hypnotizing for me, The Original High, Shady, LMD, the encore, Hollie and Terence, the band, and Adam's bootie shaking and dancing when he's all relaxed and happy. Adam's face...I can't quite describe it after all these years. He's so pretty and he radiates beauty from within, but there's more to it. When he sings it seems like a window to his soul. Hopefully I can describe my fascination with his face better another time. Btw. I bumped into Adam Ross on the street not too far from the theater and I chatted with him for a bit. I complimented him and the band and he told me that of all the artists he has worked with Adam is the one he feels most inspired by. He said that Adam's talent and great "ear for music" makes him/them want to be better musicians every day. Additionally he spoke highly of Adam as a person. Loved that. I feel truly blessed to be a part of this fandom. Met many wonderful people which made the whole weekend complete. momtomany, I was glad I had a chance to say "hi". I think I was only scratching the surface with this quick feedback, but luckily there are a number of incredible show videos to watch and other exciting fan re-caps to read. What a joy it must have been for Adam to be back home and be welcomed with open arms. Happy for him.

Mr. Prism and I drove from the Bay Area and attended the Saturday show at the Orpheum. Mr. Prism is a musician/guitarist and an Adam fan and attended 5 GNT shows and others with me but hadn't seen him (other than QAL) since 2012. He said this show was the best he had ever seen of Adam. He was impressed not only by Adam, but also the band, the lighting, the staging, and particularly by Adam Ross. So was I.
I always worry first about sound quality and second about being able to see since I'm quite short. We were in orchestra row K, dead center on the aisle and the sound was great. Although some people did get into the aisle closer to the stage I was able to see pretty well because the floor was sloped. The venue was beautiful too, very ornate. Neighborhood a little dicey as expected.
I was most surprised by how great WTTS is live. I was originally kind of lukewarm about the song, but got chills as soon as it started, even before Laleh came on stage. It's very effective in a live setting, the staging/lighting are perfect. It's interesting that the song is being played for sporting events. Maybe it will sneak up on other people like it snuck up on me. Hope so!
Enjoyed hanging out before the show at Umami burger with my long-time travel buddies nonotme and thelambertluvva, and new friend willowgarden. It was also great to reconnect briefly with a lot of other adamtopians.

Thanks for all the recaps! And keep them coming anybody else out there who wants to share!!!
I especially like this bit from the above recap. "Btw. Loved that."
I love that too. It makes me happy to know that Adam's fellow musicians respect and admire and like him! To be judged favourably by your peers is a wonderful thing.

Enjoying reading the recaps, even though I admit to feeling a little bit jealous! Still, it's fun to hear people's first-hand accounts. Keep 'em coming!
