I hate the idea of blocking concert recording. Isn't there a group that records their own concerts and sells the cds to concert goers as they leave? Several groups. But it is only audio, no video. I think they give you a code to download or maybe it is an actual CD. But, yes, there are artists doing this. I'd settle for audio, if the fans could still do video. Our techies could combine them. I wish I knew how to do it. |

Facebook was pretty up front about. Once you cliked on the vote button, to took you to a screen that asked you to allow access to your facebook, your friends, your email, etc. If you clicked allow, I assume it would allow you to cast your votes. If you said no, then it says that you can't vote via facebook. It pissed me off. I am watching SYTYCD. My family and friends may not be. Why would I allow some anonymous internet presence to bombard them with crap. This is not going in a good direction. It's a little scary. I get the option to share or not share when I vote on Facebook for Idol and SYTYCD. I always choose the "not share" option. Yes that is the norm...but this was different. If you wanted to comment you had to do that by logging in thru either twitter or facebook and on twitter, it demanded permission access to dm's as well as the usual [bit just til the 30th if i remember correctly]. This was unusual and why I did not go thru with the login. ETA this had nothing to do with voting for SYTYCD or Idol as I cannot do any of that because of geoblockers... |
