Can you imagine trying to perform with a sea of Iphones in front of you.. I think this is taking the joy out of live performing for
Adam.How can he give you that infinity thing if he can't see your face and can't truly entertain you.. No energy going back and forth..
must be awful.. no wonder he's thinking hmmmm I might as well be in the movies.. Actually he will make a wonderful movie star
,but right now he's a LIVE performer who needs people not cameras in his face.. The thing is some folks ,who travel all over the
world to see Adam ,because they love him soooo much,don't seem to care about his feelings.. Odd isn't it

It was interesting watching the video of his comments after hearing everyone discuss it. It seems clear to me that it is annoying to him to have people in the front who are just standing there filming, not participating. I don't think he minds all videoing, just not constantly in the front row where he feeds off people's energy. My thoughts exactly. |

My view is that him going off like that actually proves that he loves his fans and is treating them like friends. A true friend will call you on your bullshit. Doesn't mean they don't love you. I think the problem is these people who aren't getting the message probably don't have people in their lives who call them on their shit. So they think because he is smiling and laughing that he "doesn't really mean it". No honey (see what I did there) he means it but he still loves you anyway even if you are being a jerk. What I see in that video is Adam being real with his fans just like he would with his friends. He has spoken often about how we as a culture tend to sacrifice experiences for the sake of documenting with our phones/cameras. He also freely admits to being addicted to his phone himself. I have no doubt that he loves that fans follow him all over and go to shows but he wants them to learn to be in the moment rather than just documenting it. I think he finds it a bit weird that they go to all that trouble and expense to be there and then just have their phone out instead of living the moment.
For what it's worth, while I appreciate getting videos to shows, if they don't show up then it's all good and I rarely watch 1st row videos anyway because the sound is usually awful. I do think that if Adam is right in front of you it is a bit disrespectful to be focused on your phone. I would happily sacrifice that video view to keep Adam happy.
