I have kind of a small, silly, unimportant (to anyone but me) story of "how Adam changed me" . I have bitten my nails my entire life, from the time I was a little girl. It was a habit I could never break for more than a short amount of time. Well, when I got tickets for the Season 8 Idol Tour, I knew I just had to wear black, glittery nail polish to the concert. Stopped biting them in May of 2009 and haven't bitten them since! Now I love all my nail polish colors. Colors I would never have thought of or been able to wear, before.
My more serious, how Adam changed me story, is that I've become more aware of how gays are discriminated against and do not let people around me get away with thoughtless remarks.

ilovehawaian what a wonderful story to share with us. Adam has changed so many of us... and one thing I keep hearing over and over is that his example encourages change and risk taking.
You are a fun, beautiful soul and I'm so glad you made yourself known to us!

Love your story, ilovehawaian! Down the rabbit hole, indeed, and yay for the brave and fun choices you've made since then!
Also very cool, mys*&@^#r about the nail-biting and the increased awareness of intolerance.
In so many large and small ways, Adam makes a difference through his fans. So awesome!

I also want to say this things: I care none about Tommy.. and never cared about any Adam's boyfriends before... but I admire Sauli's personality and character.. so care a little about Sauli ... and I am SURELY not hoping for Kradam to happen.
