I bet some of you have also got new friends because of Adam? I have met my best friends through Sauli, I mean we got to know each other on the internet and then we met also on Sauli's gigs. It has made my life better, as friends always do. I'm hoping I'll meet more people by Adam also. At least here

There are the on-line frineds that I will probably never meet, like gelly. But you know, you just make a connection. Then there are the ones that you see and reconnect to at a concert. Then there are the So Cal (one AZ) friends that I have not only met but do things with on a regular basis, like SusieFierce, lynne, timegoesby, cayman , heartNNsoul, dietcoke. The people I've met may be the greatest thing Adam has given me!

I love my Adam friends. They are thoughtful and fun and kind and smart and adventurous! I truly believe many of us are now friends for life. And that is an amazing, wonderful thing.

I have kind of a small, silly, unimportant (to anyone but me) story of "how Adam changed me" . I have bitten my nails my entire life, from the time I was a little girl. It was a habit I could never break for more than a short amount of time. Well, when I got tickets for the Season 8 Idol Tour, I knew I just had to wear black, glittery nail polish to the concert. Stopped biting them in May of 2009 and haven't bitten them since! Now I love all my nail polish colors. Colors I would never have thought of or been able to wear, before. My more serious, how Adam changed me story, is that I've become more aware of how gays are discriminated against and do not let people around me get away with thoughtless remarks.I've always been a proponent of gay rights; I was in favor of the legal recognition of gay marriage when it was considered radical to support civil unions. (Actually, I think all marriages should be only civil unions from a legal standpoint; it's none of the state's business whether you're in love or having sex. Marriage, to me, is simply a way of declaring that you wish to have your spouse considered a relative for purposes of inheritance, taxes, decision-making, etc.) But I'm deeply embarrassed to admit that it took me a long time to be comfortable with displays of affection between gay people. Adam had a lot to do with changing my feelings about that. Two men kissing or holding hands made me uneasy and I couldn't talk myself out of it--but now, seeing Adam with Sauli and the two of them looking so happy, I see it as natural in a way that I didn't before. I write and talk about "Adam's boyfriend" without a second thought. That's what Adam has done for me. I used to support gay marriage because I felt it was the right thing to do if we as Americans say we believe in equal rights. I still support it for that reason, but I also support it because I see couples like Adam and Sauli and it seems insane to me that they aren't allowed to be married if they want to be. Since Adam, gay rights is not just a political issue but a foregone conclusion.

The people I've met may be the greatest thing Adam has given me! Yeah, that's the best. I live with one of those Sauli fans now and we only had met a couple of times before we decided we could be roommates too. We just had the connection by liking the same guy (or guys, Niko was part of the deal always!) And all the fans I've met have been very accepting and open minded. So it helped me to open up too. I had problems with that before, I didn't believe I'd be accepted, so it changed my life to meet these people. Now it's twice as good, or I think it multiplies more, like thousand times better... So happy to be part of all this

Since it's a little slow today I THINK I found that awsome tank Adam wore on that pic. It's a Rick Owens tank. It has a particular cut on the top front. What do you think? bit.ly/kgsSAN

cattibrie, you may have just hit on the exact thing that makes Adam's fans so special!
ETA: I can totally see Adam spending quite a bit buying things from this catalog!

Although those random flaps of fabric at the bottom are pretty odd-looking, lol!

Yesterday I found this icon with a bunch of other "American Idol" icons. I was hoping someone that is good at photoshop can take out the AI 2009 sign. Lulu2365 I love this! I wish I knew how to photoshop! :( This will be my next goal!
