Plus Amazon makes a price move like this based on sales -- more sales, lower price. They also do promotions manually but this looks like an automatic repricing. Plus, looks like they packaged it as a FYE CD with a bonus DVD. If Billboard agrees with this classification -- sales will be included with CD sales. And RIAA even more likely will be combined. Closer to Platinum every day!! [shadow=red,left,300] YES!!![/shadow] And the regular CD FYE is at #333 in Music as well! |

I am sad for Archie too. He's such a sweet kid. In thinking about Archie's situation, I'd have to say, if I were Kris, I'd be worried. Kris' album didn't sell half of what Archie sold and their single situation is about the same. The only thing Kris has going for him, over Archie right now, is that I would say Kris is more marketable. I'm not worried about Adam at all. Not one little bit.  |

I think that Archie is tough to market -- he is neither a teen star or an Adult Contemporary star. His last album wasn't bad but I think he would have done better covering standards in the Susan Boyle/Buble space vs. trying to do a pop album. Kris may be more marketable but there is nothing distinctive about him except he won Idol. I have no issues with artists doing covers, but you have to own that cover song. Kris never really "owned" LLWD. So it sold a lot, but it never defined him in a special way. Looks to me like the song sold, not the artist. I am sad for Archie too. He's such a sweet kid. The thing about Adam is that if he did get dropped by RCAl (which they will not do), he has so many options because he is now a celebrity and has a ton of fans and contacts. He could go to Broadway or Vegas. He could tour. He could design a line of clothing. He could get a talk show on cable. And he would undoubtably be resigned by someone. I never worry about Adam anymore. |

They may be kidding, but it's also kinda true. Thank goodness. How would any of us feel if we were on a romantic getaway and our significant other was tweeting? My boyfriend and I spent 8 weeks on an island and didn't see or communicate with another person for the first 6. I imagine that is what Heaven must be like. I absolutely don't want him to tweet while he's gone (although I see lots of people on twitter who do). But I do miss him. And it amuses me that VH1 had a comment. |

I feel sorry for David too, he is a nice boy, and that's part of the problem, he doesn't have the temperment for playing a teen hearthrob. I hope he disappears for awhile, maybe goes back to school, but certainly needs to do some growing up. Perhaps then he could come back and give it another go,
There is alot to be said for waiting till you are more mature, like Adam did.

Re translations of Finnish articles - there was a link to a couple translations by someone - at live journal, I think. Was wondering if she had translated any of the more recent things, but didn't save the link, and today I can't access the old site. Does anyone have it? Do you mean her....? David Cooks new album will be out during the next months - I am really interested to see how it will be doing in sales. I am happy that FYE is doing well... I have just ordered the GN DVD - Amazon tells me I will get it the first week of March...! BTW - the person on VH1 twitter must be a Glambert - they should become the "official Adam Lambert Online Fansite"..... ;D |

I can imagine other labels salivating right now, hoping that Sony drops other artists and that Adam is one of them. They'd be lined up and I don't think I am saying this because I am BSC. It is just a fact!  |
