Trying out my new avi, to see how it comes up. I've been using a screencap from his "I will find my Viking" interview (which I still love!), but now that he seems to have found his Viking, I thought I'd try out a new one.  This is a screencap from the Perez interview. Such a great interview, and the black & white image, and how much the pic reminds me of a young Elvis, captured me. Don't think anyone else will be using this, but if you are - just let me know. |

After our last dog died of old age, my dh and I decided that we wouldn't get another one - but oh, my goodness, I miss having one around the house! Please post often so I can admire yours...

I am always thankful when a negative comment or a negative article has resulted in a counterbalancing comment. It is much harder to read something that is unfair and to find it has gone unchallenged. I think, if an offsetting comment is written, it not so much helps change the mind of the original poster, but it does help give those interested readers who have not yet completely made up their mind to get a different and more balanced perspective. And at times, I have changed my own mind on things, we are all finding that we learn from each other. So while I agree that we should take the importance of an article into consideration, I certainly think that we should not leave nonsense out there completely uncontested. Some people will always find any article and read it. Having said that, it very quickly starts to be irritating when it looks like a pile-on. You can't "win" an argument and you certainly can't win by mass domination. Readers will make up their own mind about what they agree with and what they don't. Seeing a whole fan community swarm in for mind control is totally counter-productive, imo. But one or two comments - I have always found to be grateful for. Thank you. You put into words exactly how I see it. |

Gorgeous. But, how did you get this? I don't understand. It was one of the incentives for Lee Cherry's "Labor of Love" project ... it has a full Adam autograph, plus Lee's initials, and is numbered 15 of 40. It was advertised as a limited edition of 20 when I pledged, but Lee added 20 more later on ... that kind of ticked me off (I thought it should have been a different pic for the second 20), but I'm still THRILLED to have the pic ... Absolutely gorgeous!!!!! So happy for you! |
