Maybe, I seem to recall 80,000 ish discussed for Rio. Do we have a head count here yet? I vaguely recall way back on the thread a post about how at midnight, there were over 74,000 people there. Doesn't mean there weren't more earlier. Anyone remember this? Yes, there were 74,000 there last night at midnight. The Rock in Rio crowd was 80,000. |

I think the reason why Adam is better with Queen. Is his voice was made for Arenas. And the catalogue is so ammense, only Adam imo can do justice to it. With Pop, Lyirically and Melodically it is not very demanding. So it does not bring the best out of Adam like Rock and Queen does. I really want Adam to do a rock album. Kinda Modern Rock. But I guess that well only happen with Queen. Some of the lyrics he sang tonight are ridiculous. Pop does not own the patent on shitty lyrics. And I don't think these songs are harder to sing than Adam's own music. Adam is not better with queen imo. In fact, I find him more authentic singing his own music I don't think Adam is better with Queen either. It is just different. You can't compare an arena produced show with a show produced for 1-5K. Although, I do think TOH Tour would have done fine in arenas! I love Adam with Queen. Wish like heck, I could see this summer tour. But I will always prefer Adam's own music. Have to agree with Oracle, that Adam's music is also very demanding & his TOH Tour was very demanding. The great thing is though, we don't have to choose! We get both! We are smart to follow someone so versatile!  |

evergreen - you might be right about the gold pants - perhaps its the lighting that makes them look different to me...
Adam gave us a real visual fest: black and white and gold , studs and feathers and palm treas, tall boots and platform high heels and cowboy boots, leather pants and ripped denim jeans and paint-on gold pants (and no baggie pants - thank god), a throne and a crown...
the whole production is spectacular! The visiual during Dr. Bri's solo, with him elevated into this magical space cloud of lights and lasers - STUPENDOUS!
I am slowly digesting... reveling in happiness ...

He just raided his closet for this concert, those are the old shredded white jeans. But how many times did change clothes? 5 or 6? I was almost expecting to see the studded jacket on Eddie lol. I need to see the gorgeous EMA long leather coat again I think the only new thing he wore was the feather jacket. I could pretty much identify everything. Seems like Brett went back to LA and styled Adam from Adam's own closet!  ILH!!!!!! |
