The songs are incredible, seemingly timeless, and the band is iconic (are they as good as they ever were? I don't think they've slowed) but the show rests on the front man, he has to be the bigger than life star to make every person in the crowd feel like he is singing to them, raising an eyebrow at them, slyly grinning at them, - while vocally delivering 110 percent and looking amazing. Who else could really do this, who else has (not fills) those shoes? I can't think of another living singer who could.
The people in the 500th row are living, clapping, singing as much as those in row 1. "How does it feel?"
