I WAS THERE !!!!! And it was the only time I had my picture taken with Adam---right before that show--thanks to my student, Jesse, radio on-air personality here in San Diego.{94.1 FM} who arranged for me to meet Adam. I was so euphoric, I could hardly think straight when I went off to the concert venue with my daughter following my brief encounter with my musical idol. So thank you, bamafan, for posting this concert and allowing me to go down Memory Lane and relive that magical night 3 years ago. I was just going to watch the first song, IIHY, but of course, even though I have a houseful of family visitors from the east coast in my home right now--and I was just going to sneak off for a few minutes--- I couldn't stop watching until the very end. And I don't even care if I was being rude by sequestering myself in the aura of ADAM. Good thing my family loves me---and they pretend to understand...... YW! I was there too! Had my pic taken as well in that long line in the bright sunshine. Wish I had met you there....maybe some day!

Exactly. Nodding means yes. Shaking means no. Or I hear a lot of "close the lights" instead of "turn off". Or "wait on line" instead of "in line". I clearly am easily annoyed lol You better not ever go to Quebec or any other French-English Speaking country. Here are some examples of Quebec English. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quebec_EnglishThe are many regional expressions in English, but if you think about it, turn off the light only make no sense if you use a light switch, we are just used to it. In the Northeast - NY, NJ, CT, or Boston - waiting "on line" and waiting "in line" are both acceptable according to the New York Times. Here's a fun Regional English quiz for the US. Works on me -- which is surprising because I have moved so much. www.nytimes.com/interactive/2013/12/20/sunday-review/dialect-quiz-map.htmlThat quiz did good. It got my city as one of the three possibles even though I got a lot of unmatched answers. I wish it had a back button. It would have been fun to see the map if I had given other answers. Save

I would have loved to have met you that day as well. It would have made a magical time even more wonderful. It will happen someday....The radio rep was standing on the line with my daughter and me and he kept asking me why I loved Adam so much. The people around us who could hear him, just kept shaking their heads. For the longest time, I kept the picture of Adam and me as my avi--as you probably know, and only recently, did I change it to one of Adam from Morongo--another memorable night with our beautiful guy! Your picture with Adam is stunningly beautiful. He has a special glow when he is standing beside you....
