I WAS THERE !!!!! And it was the only time I had my picture taken with Adam---right before that show--thanks to my student, Jesse, radio on-air personality here in San Diego.{94.1 FM} who arranged for me to meet Adam. I was so euphoric, I could hardly think straight when I went off to the concert venue with my daughter following my brief encounter with my musical idol. So thank you, bamafan, for posting this concert and allowing me to go down Memory Lane and relive that magical night 3 years ago. I was just going to watch the first song, IIHY, but of course, even though I have a houseful of family visitors from the east coast in my home right now--and I was just going to sneak off for a few minutes--- I couldn't stop watching until the very end. And I don't even care if I was being rude by sequestering myself in the aura of ADAM. Good thing my family loves me---and they pretend to understand...... YW! I was there too! Had my pic taken as well in that long line in the bright sunshine. Wish I had met you there....maybe some day! Oh Bama! You look stunning....

Thank you both. I almost didn't post this pic, since IDT it's very good. lol. Tried to make it smaller, but couldn't figure out how to shrink it down. This M&G was one of the awful ones.....way too many folks lined up outside with the photographer set up in the bright afternoon sunshine and security was like martial law. This was the time we discussed my black/white jeans which was fun. BUT, Adam was grinning about as big as he could grin....lol. I miss that freckled arm.
Lorraine....we made a special vacay trip to San Diego..I'd never been before. We stayed in Old Town and enjoyed our visit. We had a rental car and drove up to the Live Proud event in LA...so we wound up getting to see Adam twice that trip.

bamafan, if that is your idea of a bad picture then I am burning my photo album! Where's a match?
PS - to make the picture smaller,
1. Click on BBCode 2. Look for the image address 3. Somewhere there will be a percentage, usually 100% 4. Change the 100% to any percentage you want, say 50% 5. Click on preview to see if you like it!

You better not ever go to Quebec or any other French-English Speaking country. Here are some examples of Quebec English. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quebec_EnglishThe are many regional expressions in English, but if you think about it, turn off the light only make no sense if you use a light switch, we are just used to it. In the Northeast - NY, NJ, CT, or Boston - waiting "on line" and waiting "in line" are both acceptable according to the New York Times. Here's a fun Regional English quiz for the US. Works on me -- which is surprising because I have moved so much. www.nytimes.com/interactive/2013/12/20/sunday-review/dialect-quiz-map.htmlThat quiz did good. It got my city as one of the three possibles even though I got a lot of unmatched answers. I wish it had a back button. It would have been fun to see the map if I had given other answers. Saveexcellent quiz! Put me into "New York-Jersey City-Yonkers" = spot on! The choices were very interesting too! I;ve never heard of so many of them! bama- excellent picture! you are both gorgeous!

My grandchildren go to school in Old Town ,so I get to see them there every week. I love the fact that as a native New Yorker, I now live where Adam grew up-- and have quite a few friends who knew him when he was a little boy.....I thought it was quite interesting during the concert that evening when Adam looked around and remarked how many family and friends were in the audience. Then he gazed at the mountains and mentioned his old neighborhood, Rancho Penasquitos, started to make a reference {from his teenage years} ,paused, and realized it probably wasn't the time or place....and just laughed. So Adam!!! As far as your photograph goes,I guess beauty really IS in the eye of the beholder---because I'm beholding alot of beauty therein !
