Since we're tlking about the Memphis Idol concert, here's the pic I tweeted from the After Party that night. These are Kris' brothers friends. Maybe one of them IS Kris' brother? Can't remember. I don't remember either, but I DID remember (and it's that much more obvious now) that Adam fully clothed is sooooo much sexier than these shirtless guys who are good-looking and have great bodies. How is that possible? Definitely comes from within.

Q3- you said on page one that the info was that Adam's new album will be more Pop? Where is this coming from? With the collaborations with Nikka and Sia it doesn't seem this way. Where have you heard different?

Does anyone know of a way to get the 'this is your life' [name??] show from last year in a format that you can save to a dvd [mp4]? Also, is it saved here or just on Adamtopia1? I could not find it here but it is on atop1 but the links take you to youtube. I would love to be able to watch it on my TV and to have access to it on my computer when I do not have internet access.

Q3 said on p.1: This doesn't exactly thrill me, but I know it has to be this way if he wants to have Top40 hits. Hits - PLURAL. In spite of any misgivings I'm pretty certain that I will absolutely love the album. I still love FYE. And I also love his HS Grad. performance. Watch that video frequently. As for all the DC buzz right now - jellus. But our day will come! Not so long to wait - time flies when you're having fun. Are we having fun? Personally, I'm fine with the album being more pop than rock, but I know a lot of people are still longing for Adam to go more in the direction of rock. I do believe, however, that the most important thing for him to do--regardless of what genre he chooses--is to make sure that his vocals are front and center. My one complaint about FYE is that at times the vocals seem to be competing with too many instruments. When I first heard the acoustic EP, and that voice came pouring out the speakers without a lot of banging and clanging behind it, I thought, "Yes, this is the way it should be!" There are a lot of "singers" these days who have to hide behind production. Adam isn't one of them. Adam himself has addressed the issue and indicated that we will hear more of his vocals on the next album. If that does happen, I can't imagine how the album can be anything less than wonderful because he simply has a voice like no other. With Adam, it really is all about the voice.

Where have you heard different? Adam has been saying this from the beginning and collabs with Bonnie McKee and Claude Kelly (and Bennie rumors) would certainly be supporting that. From everything I remember him saying, he is finely tuned to what is selling right now and though I think he's going to tweak things to fit his sensibilities and create his own sound, he will keep marketability in mind. I thought his comment at the AI finale when he said, "I need three or four more of those [about WWFM]," was very telling. My personal guess is he's going to do an amalgam of soulful, raw, powerful songs but with driving basslines and undeniable hooks that will account for the "poppiness." ETA: And yes, his voice will be front and center.

To do this, there are several web sites which work fine, but I use keepvid.com. There you just write the address of the Youtube video page, select the format in which you want to save the video and the place where you want to save it (disk/folder) and that's about it. If you have any questions, you can PM me.

He did say his vocals would be more front and center so that doesn't quite fit in with the Top 40 right now so I am confused.

You mean the E! True Hollywood Story? You might check Devenlane or Terra's media channels. You can tweet them to ask. Someone with a DVD recorder might be able to make one for you. I still have the show on my DVR, but don't have a DVD recorder. ???
