Aw, so happy for Adam that Sauli is back, and they are sharing fireworks together,  Sauli sounds so happy and bright and positive in his tweet. Gelly, you are a saint for wishing for no pictures. It is a beautiful day here in L.A., and by the time I get home I will have air-conditioning again. Life is good and will be even better after next week, when my summer school session ends. I am looking forward to July 4th, too. My son will be home from his European tour, my youngest is still here with us and his g/f is flying in from NYC as well, so the celebrations should be the best! We will likely be in Venice a good deal of the time this weekend, so I will keep my eye out for the happy couple.  Aww lynne it's so great to have your whole family around you for the 4th of July!!! And yes, have your eyes open for the happy couple. Don't want pics just observe closely and report back! |

But I keep waiting for some Adam music to show up on soundtracks for film/tv, and for maybe some of these neglected songs, or some from album 2 that have a lot of emotional punch, to be perfect for some scene. There is nice money there, and I would like him to have it. Hopefully this will be more lucrative with Adam 2 as he is writing on so many of the songs and now he has a publishing deal. Me too!! My dream for BO has always been to find it's way into a movie. It's such a little masterpiece it deserves a wider audience. A lot of his songs would be great in movies. These fan vids one with Twilight one a collection of images from various LBGT Pride events give some idea how beautiful it could be. |

on my wish list...acoustic version of CLYG An acoustic version would be awesome. One of the DDD guys did a cover of it if you want to know what it may sound like. www.youtube.com/watch?v=zgZyP4FANSsI guess that's JRB... but sorry I don't like it.. don't like the tone of his singing... JRB was trying the Idol one time he can sing but I guess he's not that special, so they didn't let him thru.. but yeah.. don't like his singing at all |

OT ohh no... Cook's first week prediction: 45K -50K.... I hope Adam2 would do well.. I expect the only place to see albums in 20 years time will be in museums; seeing how everythings become digital. It doesn't matter if Adam's sales don't match his previous CD only that it continues to chug-along like Adele week after week months on end. That would be the ideal situation IMO. |

Every time I listen to it on headphones my life magically turns into a movie with a wonderfully atmospheric sound-track and the images around me go into this kind of slow motion and I could swear the opening credits of "Midwifespal: The Movie," starring midwifespal, just finished rolling. Ever listen to that song on a good pair of headphones while sitting on a train? The changing lights of the passing outdoor landscape filter and flit through the windows, on off, on off, and the strangers around you gain this kind of character-actor significance as they silently interact with each other, and your own gaze becomes somehow omniscient as the music buzzes and blips and Adam's voice pours out to fill your isolation. Most cinematic experience of my life. Love it. |
