I started the morning by checking out the Twitter feed below it caused me to go down the rabbit hole, starting with the most enjoyable VH1 6 part series on Adam. YIKES! More than 3 hours later, yet happy to have had the time on a lazy dreary chilly morning !!! I started saving some of the pre-Idol vids and sites. I hope they do not disappear--do not know how to down load them but at least saved the YouTube links. Anyway...I had not seen this full version video...just the edited end of this video. Adam's co workers in productions shared that he was so awesome in Karaoke ...well who wanted to go after that.(or some such concept) Here is a promo for Dimples karaoke bar by Carson Daly (host of the VOICE USA) with some long ago vids of Katy Perry start of the vid...darn good, Britney spears is in there, and Adam finishes off at 5:25. Sneaking this in...not for discussion but just as information and opinion. Posner, Jonas and Lovato performed in town last night. The newspaper critic's thoughts lead me to still be OK that Adam had to pull together his own TOH Tour, after negotiations halted with Lovato as she was supposedly having difficulty working out a plan for Adam opening for her. Taking what the critic said about the concert last night. He thought the two were sadly stuck in the middle of their past and present personas. It was not all bad...but Well...Adam's TOH concerts were:  long enough, with amazing visuals, a stage show, energetic and lively, good/awesome sound, had sparkle, had someone on the stage with him---dancers/singers, incredible band not submerged at the back of the stage, and the performers not aloof. Adam is not: a static performer, with a entirely forced and forgettable show, with a muddied sound board for all performers. Would Adam's fate have been similar to Posner's (opening act) getting a positive critique but performed to "an almost painfully empty crowd" even though the critic felt his persona and material should fill the room(arena).  And Posner is at least on the radio here...Adam is rarely ever played--- except in grocery store music, as per yesterday during my shopping trip at Sobey's---WWFM!!!  |

OMG I know. I can't believe it! Sometimes dreams do come true :-). Pattihum I remember! It's still so hard to believe. I had a great time with you :-). Mszue that is very sweet.It was so wonderful to meet you and finally drink wine together like we always said we would! 4EverAdam it was great to meet you. I wish we had more time. We hardly talked about Adam's style ;-). Adamrocks thank you. I've missed you. Hugs back! I wish I could take all of you to the concert with me. But since I can't I promise to write a recap (hopefully I won't be shocked/faint). I bought a golden ring ticket so I'll be up close :-) Hey! Just wanted to add on this sentiment!! Two weeks from today!!!  I am sooo excited!!! This place is like a safe haven for me to get freakishly excited that I will get to see Adam pretty close too and very soon!!  I wonder how many days prior to the show they will come? |
