I head back "home" to the South next week and not looking forward to the heat!! I have turned into a wimp Northerner!! I seriously just missed that one track -- so at least I get a new Adam song -- poor audio and all! -------------------------- And no wonder Adam fans are a bit cranky. We had Idol, Idol Tour, album promo then GNT for 7 months. I am not addicted but I must be habituated.

... Being as someone who really loves to be surprised and hate to be spoiled, by knowing the ending, or key elements of books, movies, shows etc., even thought it's a bit dry at times, I'm really enjoying the fact that he keeping almost everything close to the vest until near release time. The fun right now is seeing/being part of how we are all entertaining ourselves in the meantime. And I MUST say Q3 has been doing a great job of giving us challenges or topic ideas to keep things moving along while we wait. I also think that lots of people outside of fandom are waiting too. On-line media loves to write about Adam, and I even think radio DJ's are curious what he will do next. His steady Eddie tours last year, IMHO, will pay dividends for his future. The fans, residents, local papers, venue and etc that experienced Adam blowing through town (and he visited many locations) has a subtle but important impact that could well benefit his next album release if he gets any mainstream awareness.

chunkey and marie23 I have seen some of what you are talking. Not tweeted directly to Adam so often, but amongst twitter friends talking to each other (but since they have a lot of followers it's not exactly a private conversation.) I don't think it has anything to do with Adam and his tweeting patterns which aren't that different from usual as people have pointed out, but more with us, the "hardcore" fans. We joke about it, but the feed of Adam info from multiple sources is a daily habit, even an addiction in some cases. This has gone on fairly steadily with brief interruptions at most for two years. It's understandable that a longer interruption is going to cause more than a little boredom for the small group that has made it part of their daily lives for two years and they may get a little irrational and upset about it at times along with joking and grumbling. It's something I think about with regards to myself. I think Adam would hope for us to #getoneofourown (although we often do have happy and fulfilling lives, we've just made stanning him a small part of them, just like any other enthusiasm or obsession), and it makes me wonder what the actual difference is to him or to his label between a hardcore 24/7 stan and a more casual, but still album buying/concert attending fan. Then I realize that that really doesn't matter. For me it comes down to is what I'm doing making me happy? Can I adjust in ways that still make me happy if the experience of fandom continues to change or evolve? ^^^^THIS!!! The experience as an Adam fan will always change and evolve because Adam will continue to change and evolve. Adam will do what he needs to do to pursue his artistic interests. We, the people of the Adam nation, should also continue to change and evolve in ways that match our real life interests. As many have said here an at other forums, Adam is an inspiration to us to pursue our own real life interests and to expand on our artistic freedoms. Adam is not abandoning us when he focuses on his artistic output or his own real life. IMO, he is hoping that he continues to inspire our joint journeys of discovery and continue to fearlessly take the ride.

Thanks, you guys, for the vids... There is so much... even today I can still go back to the idol perfs, or the Upright Cabaret vids.. pick any spot along Adam's remarkable journey... I'm blown away and happy. I even love this one... because I slip back into that "shit, this guy can sing ANYTHING" mode... still get butterflies watching it. I wish I had been in this audience.

I think we have just seen "the tip of the iceberg" of Adam's talent.

I don't get tweets to Adam on my feed unless it is someone I follow. So, chunkey, what do you mean by you are getting so many tweets from Adam fans angsting. Is it the way your account is set up? I really am clueless to a lot about Twitter even though I do use it. Oh, and I rarely read Adam's feed. I only do it when something major happens and I want to read all the "congratulation" tweets, like the Grammy Nom day. I think my problem is I have a bunch of fandom ppl I followed back when they started following me even tho half of them I don't even know who they are. LOL. So I see a lot of stuff that makes me shake my head. Maybe they are peeps I shouldn't be following in the first place, idk. Unfollow and/or block has saved me a lot of angst
