On CNN, they're talking about a red carpet event that William and Kate are attending tonight and saying that a bunch of A list Hollywood celebrities will be there. Should we dare hope? YES! If only that this would give him more visibility in the UK. ...........and, on the other hand, why not  :D. Hope is good, no? |

I was wondering if he is not going out in the evenings or if the paps just aren't after him anymore?
ETA. I just realized that I am constantly telling my kids that it is good to be bored occasionally. Maybe I should listen to myself, LOL

I am missing the thrill of Adam performing -- from Jan 2009 until the end of the tour there was always another performance. The excitement would build before he performed, then the treasure hunt after to find videos, reviews, photos and eye witness reports. A bit relate: I just noticed something amazing. The #2 Idol's Live! concert thread on MJ's (last night) has only 128 comments?!?!?!? During AI8 Tour, those thread had 1,000+ comment and 90% were about HBIC. Just saying the excitement has left the Idol Building. I actually just commented on that at Mj's. The format of this year's tour, with all the group numbers, doesn't allow for much individualization of performances night to night. S7 and S8 had performers who changed things up so you felt you had to see every show! This year, not so much. I was on-line the first night because I wnated to see the setlist. Last night, was not in that thread at all. I feel no need to watch any more of the You Tubes. (Not even Haley's) I thought at first my lack of interest was because Idol was so "Country". But the discussion is about everything but the performances. Pia criticism and James' contract dominate. My point is that for Adam fans -- and most Idol fans -- at the end of the day, it is the music and performances that matter. If it is just about business deals or the surrounding stuff - it gets boring. Thankfully, Quebec is getting closer every day!! And we will get a new performance. And a lot of video and photos. ETA: But Idol did give us this SEXY BEAST this year. BEWARE you may not be able to handle the shear power of it. I was wondering if he is not going out in the evenings or if the paps just aren't after him anymore? When he was working on FYE, he rarely went out at night. I think he is not going out. But the LA paps only got Adam when he went to one of there usual places to stalk celebrities OR at the Hotel Cafe when he tweeted he was going. I think he has learned to stop doing that now. (That was the parking lot intercept and the "fan at his table" event.) On tour he announced where he was going when he was compensated for promoting something. Like in Montreal and New Orleans. But he did that in secondary markets that have few paps. I can't imagine he would pre-announce in LA, Miami or New York. |

Thankfully, Quebec is getting closer every day!! And we will get a new performance. And a lot of video and photos. Maybe he'll give us a new Rock cover (Sweet Child Of Mine, please) at the Quebec concert to give us something to talk about and keep us happy before his new single comes out. You are right , thanks for the reminder. I think it's that right now I have too much time on my hands so I notice this. I told an online Adam friend (not an Atopper) that I feel like when Adam tweets an @ to someone else, it is like he is tweeting to his fans. He has over 1 million followers. He knows we are reading all of those. He could text or call Carmit(as an example,) but he tweets it. To me, those tweets are him sharing his life and thoughts with us, even if it isn't directly to the fans. He has tweeted something everyday, except for July 5th, since July 1st. Plus, he authorized Lee to tweet out the studio pics. Oh! And that pic of Danielle and Sauli? C'mon, that was OKd by Adam. I have no doubt! It's Adam's BF with Adam's BFF! So, I just don't feel there has been a tweeting drought at all. And if he has been so busy that he has to choose between tweeting to us or working on his album and/or having some relaxing time. I hope he chooses album and relaxing everytime.  And tinafea and Lulu2365 you crack me up here!  |

Bet he's spending so much time in studio, drinking it all in. Absorbing the entire process this time. I can so see him being very interested in the whole production....just as he was sitting in his bedroom with Danielle on Garage Band.
Only bigger. And better. And shinier.

He has a significant other now and can have fun hanging out at home. He's not so alone, when he goes home, like he told Oprah.  And, it does seem like he is having backyard BBQ's weekly. I can't even tell you guys how beautiful the weather has been here for over a week now. The CA deserts and Mts have gotten some freaky storms, but along the coast... Just perfect! I can imagine he and his friends are having a fun time BBQing and hanging out in the pool. |
