I just did Phineas from the Phineas and Ferb cartoon series and it got it. OK, must stop.... but this is soo intriguing! It got Phineas in less than 20 questions too! IT IS intriguing!!! My daughter tried to find something really difficult and she thougth of Antonio Gramsci and the genie got it wrong twice and then he started going red and like bursting from anger but he found it in 40 questions!  Now my daughter got up in her laptop and she continues to play!  |

Babs Well, I'm off to an annual family reunion. I missed it last year due to the Louisville concert. I'm kinda dreadin it......I can just hear it now......."Oh, you poor little thing.....we drove by and saw all the tornado destruction.....how are you coping?....bless your heart, you've been in our prayers, etc".......and then, one by one, they notice an inked # 8 on my wrist, and then it's "What in the world is that??? Are you having a nervous breakdown??? I can't believe you got a tattoo !!! What do you think your late mother would think??? LOL.....then back to the " you poor thing....I will continue to pray for you"...... It's gonna be a looong day ! This made me laugh, Bama, because every time I visit my son in Birmingham over a holiday and we go to his in-law's, I am exhausted from the effort to be on my best behavior. Now, I don't drink, smoke, swear (casually,) or tell dirty jokes, but it's hard for me not to find humor in situations that are absurd or keep my mouth shut when some particularly conservative conversation starts. Don't even get me started when the subject is music, even before Adam, and I'm expected to chime in on which Christian group or sedate country singer, is my favorite. Don't get me wrong, they are wonderful people, but just so perfect. I used to be perfect then got divorced, moved to Myrtle Beach, and went berserk. That was 20 yrs ago, so I can barely remember much about my former stellar self. Ha, ha. I think they feel I'm even past the "bless her heart" stage. Savvy: As a midwest transplant to NC (about 70 miles from MB), I find it so interesting how some people who are most "devout" seem to find it perfectly ok to go the "the beach" and then the rules seem to go out the window! Kind of "What happens in MB stays in MB"... I expect none of them is any more perfect than you are. I could say relax and be yourself, but that would be hypocritical of me, because I am the same way with my inlaws! BTW - Love the Adult Truths! |

Hi Atopians! I wanted to delurk and say hello and thanks to all of you, especially Q3, for keeping Adamtopia alive and awesome. After the last board stopped working, I decided it was a sign I should not log in again and try to stop Adam stanning so much. Alas, it is to no avail. I am here lurking almost daily, even if only at the end of the night to see what's been happening--or, in the case of the last few weeks, what has NOT been happening. Welcome joky. I remember you.
