More Iggy observations;
When it was announced Brentwood was going home the first thing she said was 'Oh no! what am I going to do now?' It was about her not Brentwood.
Brentwood did not thank her as a mentor. They said 'It was great to meet all four judges and the other contestants'. I don't think there was any love lost there.

Haven't watched the results show, but the night before, when Iggy introduced Brentwood, she appealed to the audience to vote for them because if they didn't, she wouldn't have anyone left on her team. I noticed it then and thought, "It's all about HER."

When the public votes, we get what we get and we all know it's not always the right decision. That's why there are judges to at least make the save when necessary! Iggy blew it in my opinion! Very subjective of course but I think Iggy was being spiteful! Don't know why, don't know her at all, but she has always supported Chynna and didn't really seem to care for Beatz.

I tuned in midway during my break at Uni and have now caught up with the first part of the show...Brentwood left???!!! Another WTF!!! Sorry, but NO wonder the show is doing awful. Natalie, Brentwood, Chynna...it's just too much... I don't know Iggy and what she thought, but did kind of feel kind of spiteful towards Guy...but who knows... On a lighter note. That scene of Amalia and Adam:...do you know Billie Holiday?...Do you know Etta James?...Do you know Janet Jackson?...You don't know Janet Jackson?!!!...I give up! I had do ROAR!!! Just... I don't think I've heard of Billie Holiday either...but I've heard of Etta James, because Christina Aguilera sang her song "At last" at her funeral...and Janet Jackson...of course...

But then, that pretty much defeats the purpose of having a bottom 2 with the judges save. Sometimes (often) the voters do get it wrong. (Remember Idol, when Adam was in the bottom 3?) Perfect example is Vlado still being there. The judges being able to make the call is part of what makes XF, XF! The talent competitions are better when the judges have a role and it is not just up to the voters. Particularly now that voting for mischief is a notable percentage of voting. [The Rat Pack Week AI Season 8 was just odd but a great example -- Kris, Adam and Matt ended up as the Bottom 3. Kris was released first, so Adam was in the Bottom 2 -- although no one has ever confirmed that was meaningful. I still believe that many Adam fans foolishly joined the "save the girl" movement to keep Alison on the show and thought Adam was safe, and others were "sure he would win" and did not vote. I know that I had no idea what was required for someone to win Idol and how organizing the voters matters. I and many other Adam fans learned how to vote. Back to now.] Oh, it absolutely was an organized "Save Allison" week. Everyone wanted her to go into Rock theme & most assumed Adam was safe. I was in the audience that night. I got physically sick waiting for the results! :(

If they are going to have a 'Judges save' type vote then it should a mandatory decision. The four duke it out privately to a decision or the team judge does not vote and the other three decide. IMO. Not having the team's mentor vote is an excellent idea. Although, I do think they should be allowed to comment & plead their case.

I noticed it then and thought, "It's all about HER." to be fair it seems the whole XF AU concept is to have a "judge/mentor win", not a "contestant win" - so the whole premiss is terribly flawed, isn't it? ( It was really disturbing for me when during audition rounds the judges were talking about "MelB winning" as if contestants were just pawns in the all-mighty judges' ego game..)

In that case, I have no issue with leaving the decision making up to the voters in the end. For now, as long as Adam and his kids are fine, I'm good. Call it being invested lol. But then, that pretty much defeats the purpose of having a bottom 2 with the judges save. Sometimes (often) the voters do get it wrong. (Remember Idol, when Adam was in the bottom 3?) But drama and suspense seem to be part of the reality show concept, and it can be cruel. I really don't have a strong opinion, except I would like to see Adam's team make it to the finale!

Well, look at hot little Isaiah! Nice outfit!! Something about him, particularly in that photo reminds me of Sutan. Cute, cute boy. Totally agree with both these highlighted comments!!!! Isaiah's clothing selection and choices plus the makeover have really set him up for a youthful star status appeal. I noticed in the video clip of the latest XFactor mansion clip (with the contestants watching their past show) that Isaiah was wearing a red stitched puffy jacket which is so on trend/in fashion. He does like cool things! I noticed he had bare feet. And, I think we know who else likes bare feet around his house! OMG---The resemblance to Sutan in this particular picture really is remarkable. Good catch--- graciejane!
