I think Adam's quote needs to be here: "I think he appealed to a certain type of person that is very opposite to the type of people that I know and respect.”Yup! MTE! Thanks Adam.....at times I don't respect some of the things you do or say, but I don't run to twitter and make judgemental remarks about you. Maybe you should know more about some of the people you are judging many of us are independents who are socially liberal and fiscally conservative. I for one want more people to have good paying jobs and Obama has proven he doesn't know how to make that happen. Yes, he's increased service sector jobs but those are traditionally entry level and part time jobs. I'm talking about bringing living wage jobs back to this Country so the public employees aren't the only ones making a living wage. I also believe there are a lot of government jobs that should be run by the private sector where they don't have the burden of layers and layers of bureaucracy that add billions of dollars to the national debt.

Maybe Adam is like my gay cousin who just got married this year who lives in a red state that not only does not have anti-discrimination laws on the books. ie he can be fired, he can be kicked out of stores, he can be refused food all because he is gay in American. And not only that, this state doesn't believe that physical attacks on gays are a hate crime. So there's no difference between randomly getting pissed off at somebody for something they said at a bar, than cruising the streets looking for someone who is maybe holding hands with the same sex and deciding to teach them a lesson. And even if as some people say that HeWhoCannot amed isn't anti-gay himself, that doesn't hold for many he's put in his circle including the guy that's a heartbeat from the presidency. As to government jobs being turned into private - yep our privately held state prison was dubbed "gladiator school" www.nydailynews.com/news/national/fbi-takes-investigation-idaho-gladiator-school-article-1.1714357 and we didn't get rid of them until we finally had enough evidence of them cheating taxpayers by fudging time slips to make it look like they had the required number of guards etc. Even then the governor let them off without having to pay back the money they stole.

Maybe you consider moving to a different state, there are many that are less corrupt and more tolerant.

I'm not talking just about just Federal employees, when I say public sector I mean Federal, State and local. Including everything from the local dog catcher to the Federally run programs that can be handled more efficiently by the private sector. Think about the State road crews that have two guys working and five standing around watching. That doesn't happen nearly as much with private companies where employees are accountable for getting the job done on time and on budget. My Brother owns a fencing company and suffers through the mountains of paper work required by the Federal, State and Local governments before he gets the contract. He's always complaining that he could have had the job done in the time it takes to complete the paper work . There never seems to one agency in charge, he always people from several agencies visiting job sites and they all seem to have plenty of time to stand around and BS wasting his time and taxpayers money. Government at all levels is bloated and it needs to become more efficient.

Somebody talked some sense into him. He can't be trusted alone. Donald J. HeWhoCannot amed Verified account @realdonaldhewhocannot amed Love the fact that the small groups of protesters last night have passion for our great country. We will all come together and be proud! Yes for 4 years he will need someone to talk sense into him. That's reassuring. I agree with Adam. I only hope Adam and the LGBT can get through this unscathed and their rights left intact. LOL,The pivot is back. Most politicians mark their personal sends, he does not. The tracking during the campaign was to watch the device ID. Has anyone checked what device that was sent from?

As I'm not from the US I didn't partake in this discussion, but I read it. I was pretty shocked when I found out on Wednesday morning that HeWhoCannot amed had won. Especially what he and his running mate can do to Adam's rights (and his friends) frightens me, but also what damage he can do to the world. I truly hope that he means at least part of his speech on Wednesday about being a president for all Americans and that things turn out ok. On twitter I found an article that showed me some insight in how the people in the US work. It's very en-lighting in why people voted for HeWhoCannot amed and why he was able to convince all those people that he is a good candidate. hbr.org/2016/11/what-so-many-people-dont-get-about-the-u-s-working-classLooking further out than just this election, this collection of writings by Sarah Kendzior is worth a read. sarahkendzior.com/opinion/

I am going to reiterate my concerns about HeWhoCannot amed's corporations. No bank would loan him money after at least 6 bankruptcies and with a few more brewing, so he is up to ears more likely dealing with Russian oligarchs, or the Chinese banks. The fact we do not get to see his tax returns, he has said once that if his returns were viewed that would change the tide of the voting. We could at least see who he is paying interest to. Having his children operating his companies leaves HeWhoCannot amed full access to daily operations. They should be directed by the court to be placed in blind trust with a third party operating them with no family interference whatsoever. This way leaving no chances of conflict of interest. His Policy decisions would not affect and increase their wealth.
He has stated he would drain the Washington D,C, swamp, but so far he is considering career politicians, or people who should have been jailed during the 2008 fall. Gutting Social security and medicare and ACA is a high priority, like now, but with no alternatives. if you were born after 1957, you will never get SS or medicare. Ryan is spearheading this. HeWhoCannot amed et al cannot touch the supreme court decision on same sex marriage, unless someone files a case and the Supreme Court chooses to rescind their first decision. Besides they have 5 justices that would out vote any changes.
I truly feel violated by this con man. It has only been 2 days and we are seeing who he truly is.
He has the attention span of a gnat, and I truly believe he is learning disabled. *&@^# will be the leader. Christies has been pushed out as heading up the transition. *&@^# is now in charge.
