I can't help but wonder why HeWhoCannot amed supporters are even coming to this thread. The point of keeping it open was to allow those that have real fear and anxiety a place to get a hug and support. I find it cruel to belittle others fear. I also think that it would be nice to see some grace from the winners. Serves no useful purpose to rub HRC supporters nose in it. I would hope that unless you have something new or relevant to add that you would refrain from repeating the same info over and over. Thank you tinafea, I completely agree. I can like Adam's music and support him without liking his politics.

Now I know why I don't visit and participate here much anymore. Shouldn't have commented in this thread. Sorry for expressing my opinion. Maybe the guidelines should specify what your political views need to be.

I think the guidelines have typically been "scroll is your friend". And on an Election thread I think the expectation is likely to assume that the views of those discussing it are more likely than not going to be in line with the views of the man that we stan. But perhaps some people are just here for the voice and not the personality that goes with it?

So back to discussion. I just got off of the phone with a whole passel of education folks, specifically working with girls and minorities in science and technology. They are all very worried on two fronts. HeWhoCannot amed has said he will disband the Education department which distributes a lot of money for low-income schools etc and we don't know his stance on the National Science Foundation which is responsible for a ton of research at university and other levels. And then there is his pro-choice pro-charter schools stance which could cause all kinds of disruption.

I still haven't been able to sleep much because of the fear that keeps me up. My family is split evenly and since Thanksgiving is at my house this year, Rule #1 is no political talk or they get banished to the kiddie table. Rule #2 is no talk about the Seahawks either because everyone in Portland hates them.

I think i realized today, why this thread has become somewhat volatile. We are comparing apples and oranges. We are not talking about the same thing. One side is talking about Republican politics. The other side is talking about decency, morals, fear. If this were McCain, Romney, even Bush, i could discuss politics. Because as much as i disagreed with those mens' politics, i never questioned their decency or their sanity. But this man, HeWhoCannot amed, has spewed hatred about everything I believe in how Americans should treat each other and "others." The thought that a man talking about grabbing pussy, ridiculing a gold star family, making fun of disabled people mre than once, and threatening to separate families was elect d as our president, is so beyond my comprehension that i can not understand it. I feel embarrassed in front of the entire world! The America i thought i was living in has been changed forever. It has shaken me to my core! We are no longer a beacon of democracy for the world. We are no longer leaders of the free world! This election will produce the most conservative Supreme Court we have seen in decades! No election has ever left me this stressed :(

His daughter warned HeWhoCannot amed to not have controversial people on his team. *&@^# and Ryan are controlling him. He didn't sign up for all the work. He wants the glory but not the work. Well suck up HeWhoCannot amed!!!
Another thing is that he stated he doesn't want to be at the White House much. He would rather be in his own bed at the HeWhoCannot amed Tower. That is why he flies home all the time on the campaign trail. Tough noogies!!! Get that hard bed in the White House dude.
