I also was wondering if Pharaoh was going on tour and from the pictures we have seen I would say yes and Uncle Terrance would be a perfect pet nanny ...I the Adam and Pharaoh videos and pictures .. The only problem with being the pet nanny is that you don't get to go to the concerts!!! As much as I like dogs and as much I think Pharaoh is a really good dog, I'm not so sure that taking him on tour is a good idea. Dogs like routine. They have to be taken care of on a trip. He'd have to be taken out for potty breaks and walked and fed. Adam isn't always available to do that on tour. And also, we know Adam often likes to go out on the town in the evenings after a show when he's on tour. Adam would have to have someone along on tour to take care of Pharaoh when he isn't around. I think Pharaoh would be happier at home with a dog-sitter or maybe at a kennel that boards dogs. He seems like he gets along with other dogs okay. I think Adam would be lot calmer knowing Pharaoh is being taken of just fine at home. JMO, of course. Maybe they could have Skype visits!

Well this could be a tough decision for him. Either way won't be easy.

Dogs don't belong on tours period! Why not? I am a crazy dog lady.... ask anyone who knows me. I do my best not to "inflict" non-dog lovers with my obsessions (8 of them currently), but when I have to leave them for several days I miss them terribly. And, judging by their reaction when I return home, I think they miss me, too. When I am home, despite having free access to the back yard thru a doggie door, 90% of the time, all the puppies are in the same room as me. They cry if I go to the bathroom and close the door. It may be much simpler for Adam to have a dog sitter at home while he is on tour, but if he wants Pharaoh with him, there are ways to make it work. Adam has remarked about touring being lonely at times. Pharaoh would be a big help with that. As long as dogs are with their special person/pack leader, they adapt to changing circumstances well. If Adam can bring a stylist, a vocal coach, a personal chef, or a fitness trainer on tour with him, he can certainly arrange for a dog nanny to accompany him on tour. If Pharaoh is as bonded with Adam as it looks from photos, Pharaoh will be happiest being with Adam as much as possible.

Dogs don't belong on tours period! I really think it might depend upon the individual animal. I had a collie who traveled OK, but he was always more at peace at home, whether or not his people were with him. My Wheaten Terrier, on the other hand, absolutely loves to travel, and "home" to him is wherever his family is. He is 10 now, but when he was just a couple years old, we had a major house fire and had to temporarily relocate to a rental home for 6 months. My pup barely missed a beat. He had a couple mopey days in the interim suite hotel at which we were put up while we searched for an available rental, but I think that had more to do with the fact that we were all on edge having just lost the contents of our house down to our socks! After a day or two, he was happy as could be just being with us no matter where we landed. Hard to tell just from pictures, lol, but Adam and Pharaoh appear to be so bonded that separation might be more stressful for the pup than a travel adventure.

Dogs are as varied as people in their personalities. Not all dogs thrive on routine. Some dogs are well suited to travel and adventure. Adam would not be the first artist taking an animal on tour. By the time tour rolls around I'm sure Adam will have had plenty of time to gauge Pharaoh's adaptability and to make whatever arrangements necessary.

It's a dog, he is not the second coming of Christ or something. People take along their children on tours and to movie sets, etc. Certainly can be easily managed with a dog. This ain't rocket science.

I'm sure Adam will have it all figured out when it comes to his sweet pup..I've decided to not worry about what Adam decides to do. I have
enough to think about when I leave my dog to go see Adam and Queen..LOL
