Don't waste your time hoping for any wonderful improvement in online fan club relations. U2 uses fanfire and we go through this same shit every year for renewals. On the up side I once got two packages because my renewal fell just before they announced the new package so I got a repeat of the previous years package then when the new ones came out they sent me that too. I think dissatisfaction with fan clubs is pretty universal and the only ones I've ever come across that had relatively high satisfaction were for indie artists on a niche level that are run by the artists themselves and not companies like groundctrl and fanfire. Oh, and the bitching about merchandise is pretty universal too.

When did Adam become a Glaadaward nominee? did I miss something.. He was nominated in 2010; I don't remember exact category, but was up against Gaga, I believe. He didn't win. Thx.. I knew he performed that year.. didn't know ( :-[ or remember oops) he was nominated for something.. |

My membership expires 9/1 and still haven't received the email. Wonder why? I haven't gotten an email yet either, and my membership also expires 9/1. I haven't actually done anything there for quite awhile, but I do check in everyday to see if I have any Friend requests. |
