Thanks for posting....I enjoyed that. Love both RuPaul and Raja!  I also thankyou for posting.....Love Raja! Watched the whole season. She was FIERCE! I found RuPaul's remark that Raja was "smart" because she knew how to brand herself (including being on ITunes) an interesting tie-in. |

kittykay, that is interesting because my friend e-mailed Ground Control and they said the packages, for right now, are exactly the same as last year. I posted the e-mail in a thread a few days ago, but didn't save it. Perhaps the Mods and Ground Control are not communictaing well! :-/ I would love to see a t-shirt with an actual "iconic looking" photo from Glam Nation on it. There are so many to choose from and if using a fan photo is a problem, a sketch or even some action shots that Lee took could work. I haven't gotten the renewal e-mail yet! They should have had the details worked out well before the one year anniversary of the site....many (most?) of us have an expiration date falling in three weeks. I will renew but I don't want a tee shirt that I already have! ...does anybody know if the renewal link goes to something other than the fan store page which lists the various subscription packages?? I must have deleted my email after I read it - I remember getting it, but can't find the stupid thing now. If I buy a new subscription will they know it's a renewal and I'm not a new member (not that there seems to be any benefit to having an early "join" date at present).

Re teens: One thing I know for sure is that they sure generate lots of "clicks". And it seems that those are important lately, as well as FB and Twitter numbers... I bet these translate into promotional opportunities for the artists... They listen to music much more than "older" folks - I rarely see a person under the age of 30 without the white wires in their ears... both on the street and at work... "dating Adam": as others posted - I also fail to see any relevance in this argument. and yes, I would love my kids to be lucky enough to meet a person with that level of talent, intelligence and beauty of the soul - regardless of the age difference. |

We [Mods] were told mid-July that Ground(ctrl) had been busy getting the new membership packages together for the past few weeks and they were "stepping out of the box" this year and hoping that Adam will approve. I don't know if approval has taken place yet, but I will ask. I saw a link on twitter to this about the packages. If Adam and the powers to be were smart they would re-package the Fan Club and membership packages with whatever the design of Adam's new album is going to be. And if they do that I doubt We will get any hints of it until Adam releases His album cover or His first single. My membership doesn't expire until September 1 so I'm waiting until then to decide if I'm going to get the Glitter or Glam package. (I still haven't wore that butt ulgy shirt from last year, Sorry Adam)

When they sent out the survey from the FC about what we wanted, I replied would like to see a chance to buy good concert tickets before they were available to the general public. I doubt they will listen but would love not to go through the ticket headache of trying to get tickets before they sold out. For many years I ran a fc for another artist and I did all the fc tickets for members. It was a huge job, but the tour manager pulled out a good majority of the first 20 rows and then had additional choices further back at different price levels. People had to go to the will call window at the venue the night of the show and show a photo ID to pick them up. People were only allowed to buy 4 tickets per show per member. In most cases it worked well and everyone was happy but I know there is no way GC will do a ticket program unless it involves a high price package with a meet and greet and other perks including a ticket.
