I cannot believe that I will be on a plane tonight when BTM premieres!! I will was at all of you from the sky!! as I fly over all the happy, tearful people getting to watch it. I cannot believe that VH1 moved this up just so I will miss it. Fun day ahead for me -- 17 hours, 4 airports and I will not end up anywhere wonderful like Thailand -- just going to Oregon. And no Adam concert when I finally get there!! There will be two more scheduled showings tonight --- 12:00AM and 2:00AM -- So I hope to make it to my hotel in time for the 2:00AM show! MY HOTEL BETTER HAVE VH1!!!!!!!!!!!! 4 airports?? Why Q3, why?! I am flying from Akron-Canton (Ohio) to a hub -- Charlotte, then fly cross country to San Francisco, then fly to Oregon, then take a prop jet to my ultimate destination. 4 flights -- not 17 hours, only 14 hours, because the connections are not good. I guess that you are not supposed to go there from here!! Makes me long for the days of point-to-point schedules vs. these mega hub routes. But there really are very few options from Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Akron-Canton to Portland -- hence my upcoming tour of America!!

I asked this question late last night on the thread, and did not get an answer. So, forgive the repost, but, there are more folks online new. I used to have an email alert set so that when someone posted a new comment on the vocal masterclass thread I would be notified. It has not worked recently, so I went to look where to set it again. I cannot find where to set preferences to notify me of a new posting. Is that feature still available? If so, where can I access it? Thanks. Cassie, if I remember correctly, that was a feature on the old proforums Atop board. Not sure if it was ever available here.

I was surprise to read the bold part. I guess for some kids it's embarashing to like Adam or his music. I like him since he was on AI and the whole office knows I'm an Adam fan and crazy about his voice. My other co-worker (a guy), has the same opinion as me that Adam is one of a few singers who can sing Queen's songs). So.. I guess I'm an "openly" Adam fans since the beginning and I'm proud of it ;D

You must remember that all the grandmothers with grandchildren have either taken their grandchildren to Adam's concerts or at least bought his albums and sent them as gifts to their grandchildren. Those teenagers are growing up knowing who Adam is and what he sounds like. I get reports all the time about stores they heard his songs in and what radio station played an Adam song. If they love their gramma, they won't forget Adam ever.
The 30 and 40 year old mothers that are fans of Adam are raising all their young children on Adam music. Once these kids are teenagers, you can almost bet that Adam will be one of their favorites. It has only been two years and Adam is an international star. I don't think we will ever have to worry that Adam is going to lose fans. He has nowhere to go but up, up, and up, and I want to live to see it.
My 10 year-old grandson reminds me everytime I talk to him that it is his turn to go to Adam's concerts next time I go. My granddaughter went to the Glamnation concerts so when Adam goes on tour again I will have grandchildren to take with me along with my husband. Can't wait.

My DD is 16 and loves Adam.. she has a few friends that feel the same way.. some of which I sent the GNT live to..
DD is not happy that we couldn't go to the GNT tour last summer.. (I really had a lot going on spending money on a concert and traveling even an hour or two just wasn't feasible) so we are Adam concert virgins.. LOL..she has made me promise we will go the next tour..

I will raise a cold beverage to you as you fly into Portland tonight, oh ATOP founder. Weather is very pleasant and we've been in the low 80's in recent weeks.

Buder - a great collection of pics, showing our multifacted star... I get a real kick out of your putting the one in the orange jacket next to the concert pic - striped jacket crawling on the floor! ;D
