Bye savvy!! BTW, this one had me LOLing IRL too: You sound like a riot to have for a grandma. Soooo different then my grandmas, for sure!! Although one did sew me an entire wardrobe of Barbie clothes once – that was awesome. All this talk about Barbies reminds me of my son, a state trooper, who played Barbies with his oldest daughter when she was little. They played 'drug bust' Barbie and 'suicide prevention' Barbie and DUI Barbie. She is now getting her MA in art therapy so she can work with traumatized children! Kinda makes you wonder... |

Those of you without small children who wonder how some of these kids make it to ITunes success need to spend a day watching Nick and Disney. Most of the shows end at 7 min to the hour, which leaves time for videos from Selena, Victoria Justice, Big Time Rush,etc, etc. The little ones hear it and want it. By the way, I drew a line in the sand a few weeks ago and said 2 things I WILL NOT WATCH are PHINEAS AND FERB and VICTORIOUS with Victoria Justice, to me the most annoying and most autotuned creature on earth. So, when I saw the poster for Adam at the VH1 awards, who is also a presenter? Victoria Justice. My 6 yr old granddaughter is so aware of my disdain for VJ that when she went to Build a Bear the other day, she got a dog and named it Victorious just to torment me. Sacre Bleau! What do you have against Phineas and Ferb? I was goint to post that I want Adam on their "talk show". They've had Jack Black and NPH among others. Now that annoying 10 yr old smart kids in high school show, that I disdain. And yes every 10 yr old disney star sings "Dynomite", which makes me very glad Adam just worked with one of it's writers. I know! I love Phineas and Ferb! It is a very smart and creative cartoon, IMO. But I do agree with you about The Simpsons and The Family Guy... |

I cannot believe that I will be on a plane tonight when BTM premieres!! I will was at all of you from the sky!! as I fly over all the happy, tearful people getting to watch it. I cannot believe that VH1 moved this up just so I will miss it. Fun day ahead for me  -- 17 hours, 4 airports and I will not end up anywhere wonderful like Thailand -- just going to Oregon. And no Adam concert when I finally get there!! There will be two more scheduled showings tonight --- 12:00AM and 2:00AM -- So I hope to make it to my hotel in time for the 2:00AM show! MY HOTEL BETTER HAVE VH1!!!!!!!!!!!! That sounds grueling! Hope you can sleep on the flights. The weather is nice here right now if you are heading for any of the bigger cities. I'll be trying to tune in to a stream, and if that doesn't work, waiting for rips. |

I have multiple copies of each, and brought an extra set with me. It felt so great to give them to a fan who didn't have them - I heard back that her daughter was very excited to get them.   So glad you delurked and with such a fantastic story. That's awesome!! I've read that in countries where pirating is rampant, genuine, physical CDs are considered precious and somewhat of a status symbol to own. Hope that's the case, so your gift will have even more meaning. |

I have to practice my setting the recording...Have not done that for ages! Just in case - does anyone know if VH1 repeats it's programs? Will BTM be on at some later time/day?, it will be repeated many times later, from my carrier's info: Sun(8/7) at 11pm, Monday(8/8) at 1 am, Tue(8/9) at 1pm, Wed(8/10) at 2 am, Sat (8/13) at 12:30 pm.
Q3 comment: Times depend on your time zone. VH1 has the whole schedule on their site -- remember Central Time Zone is Eastern -1 hour. |

I have read other threads talking about Selena Gomez as being a good singer. How about Miranda Cosgrove??? My 2 daughters 14 and 9 and even my 7 year old son made me stand in the rain for about 5 hours yesterday waiting for her to sing. I dont know how I will ever recover the only thing i can think of is if i listen to adam all day and count down the hours until Vh1 behind the music. Steph

Phineas and Fern is the only show on Disney channel that I like. My son watches a lot of the crap there (& on CN, HUB, etc.) and he knows he has to turn off or mute all of it except forP&F! I would love to see Adam on their talk show  |

Last week, I got a call from my BIL who was in Houston on a business trip (he is prez of the largest oil company in the Philippines). He asked if my DH and I were free for the weekend (and I thought, oh no....cannot interfere with BB's VH1 special !!!). He wanted to come with 2 of his business associates. Of course, I had to say yes as he is married to my beloved sister. They arrived Friday night and saw the Adam poster that we had for the GNT viewing party as well as all the Adam magazines on the coffee table. Surprise, surprise, they know of Adam because he is very popular there and their wives are big fans! They like him too (nice to know since these are executives in their 50's). Needless to say, their wives are getting copies of the EP and GNT DVD (always keep these handy - you never know when an Adam fan shows up on your frontstep). As much as I love my BIL, glad they are leaving this evening to go back to Houston. So I have my night free to spend with Adam. (They played golf yesterday and are playing golf again today - they flew all the way from Houston just to play golf - said it was too hot to play there. Men, spent >$700 each for airfare just to play golf! Back to the kitchen to cook lunch as they will be ravenous when they get back from the golf course. Happy Sunday to all and happy viewing! Woman, you are always cookin'. The queen of hospitality! $700 airfare for a round of golf? Hey, they could be Adam fans--we know $$ is no object for us! And boy is she a good cook. Queen of hospitality should be her title. Gotta agree on the golf - but golfers are golfers. Enjoy tonight!!!!!!!!!!!! |
