I wonder if lots of the appeal of Adam's 'Running' is Adam's deeper notes... They are becoming more 'usual' now as his voice matures - but then, it was a gorgeous shock to hear that sound, So rich and raw and sexy. I think Adam underestimates the appeal of that part of his voice - chasing the pop music dream....where pop music seems to be about singing as lightly and as high as you can, these days..... denying the quality of a voice such as Adam's. You only have to watch shows like the Voice where as soon as a male singer hits the high notes, they go 'wow' and press. Adam can and will do what he wants, of course....etc etc...but the One More Try vibe feels to me, so perfect for where he and his voice are now..... Edit: sorry, posted in wrong place....was reading Running discussion couple of threads ago. But I'll leave a) because it's quiet here and. b) because I don't know how to transfer it .

Sophie, the appeal of Runnin, for me, besides the lyrics, the music, and all the magic of Adam that he brings to the song,is that the first notes showcase the deep, richness of his voice and then he dances all around it, going up and down and all around and back down again. What a glorious musical trip! These are the only words I can think of to describe it since I don't have the musical training to come across in a more technical, musically informed way. But---I DO know what I love and Adam's Runnin brought me to heaven and beyond!

I so love hearing Brian talk about Adam! He adores him. Lyndsey is such a good interviewer, too. She asks good specific questions that lead to interesting answers. And of course, Brian is a real pro at this. He's done it a million times. Such fascinating talk about the difference between Freddie's time and Adam's time in terms of LGBT acceptance, AND the insidious return to old attitudes with our current political leadership. People like Adam are doing their best to maintain a forward momentum with LGBT rights and acceptance. One more thing about yesterday's discussion about Adam's possible role in "Bohemian Rhapsody." Some people thought if he had a small role, it would be as himself performing with QAL. Kind of a "flash forward" sort of thing, But I always meant that I thought it would be him playing some other small character role, not playing himself at all. Maybe a friend of Freddie's or even a casual lover role that ends quickly. I never thought of Adam playing himself in the movie. Anyway, it would be great if he was in it in some capacity. He's earned it.
