On the subject of voting for Sasha because Adam said so - this guy is really on a rant about it. t.co/AEDLfde HAHAHA.. I think he's just panic and afraid that his favorite, Melanie will not win because of Adam tweets. He think we're just bunches of robots that would do whatever Adam told us to do. Well.. some of Adam fans might not be a fan of Sasha.. and may like Melanie better.. so whatever.. On serious note.. I really want Sasha to win.. : :-/

Some people have too much time on their hands. Dude needs to take a chill pill. Sheesh. So Adam tweets about his friend. Doesn't mean Sasha is going to win. Adam tweeted multiple times about Haley Reinhart and she didn't win AI. I think people still have minds of their own and will vote as they choose. Adam is a force of nature in many ways but his support alone isn't going to determine the outcome on SYTYCD. Agree! This guy has like 14 followers and has tweeted 56 times. Gaga and several judges have said Melanie is their favorite (not to mention a$$hat, Nigel!) That was said in front of millions of SYTYCD fans. I think the only unfair advantage that Sahsa has had is that she is damn FIERCE!!!!! I seriously hope that the thing that Nigel said to support Melanie would turned people off and instead they voted for Sasha or Marko. She's only good whe she dances her style.. aka not versatile enough, unlike Sasha.. but.. the votes were already in so I guess I'm just ranting myself :-/

If RCA hasn't already approved the final tracks, I will eat my hat. I think they were approved in early July at NY visit before last. I don't think the final tracks are finalized but I do think that Adam has picked 5 or so "must be on the album" songs that are his personal faves and he doesn't care if they are singles or not, they set the tone of the album. OOL was one of them. They've listened to what he has in the can so far but still waiting for the final moment like they did with Fever for possibilities. They've got penned down potential singles, I'd say 5. They've got a drop dead date for all songs in the can and then they'll lay the 5 singles on the table, Adam will have his 5 on the table, and then they'll pick 5 more from everything else to round it out with the theme and Adam will help organize them from track to track. And then they'll pick a name. He's said he likes names that are song titles or lyrics so he'll wait to see for sure what's on it. That's what I think anyway, lol. Sorry, I stay with my original assessment. The album tracks have been finalized. • Engineer in Miami referred to it as "his album." Therefore, not a handful of tracks. • On Father's Day, Eber referred to it as "his album." Therefore, not a handful of tracks. • Eber was very specific about the five tracks "on the album" after OOL was debuted. • Alisan and other insiders have commented on hearing "the album." Again, not "those sample possible tracks – I hope that one makes it ..." • Adam has said with complete certainty that it has a name. • Adam has said with complete certainty that OOL IS on the album I contend, the album is done. Has been approved and is going through final tracking. I would still eat my hat to hear otherwise.

I think all the tracks are chosen and the single is chosen. IMO, they are just doing the final recording, fine tuning, or whatever the right technical word is. I think everything has been chosen for at least a month. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. ETA: Susie, LOL "great minds" and all that!

I'm gonna play devil's advocate, if only because I think that if they were at the point of having chosen all tracks, then it seems logical to me that some dates would be released to the public. It seems like pretty recently there were indications that new music was being worked on which might not yet have been submitted to Adam for consideration so I wouldn't be surprised if while certain tracks are getting finalized, others are still in process, even very early in the process (they of course might not make the cut). I feel kind of like were waiting for the monsoon and we get an occasional clap of thunder or flash of lightning, but the weatherman can't predict anything. I'm trying to tell myself that the tentative dates we got earlier from Pulse are completely not to be relied upon because right now it doesn't seem like the storm clouds are gathering fast enough to meet those dates (at least for the single) although I recognize that I'm completely uninformed and mostly basing this on what I'm seeing from other artists who have albums coming out this fall. Mainly I only care for selfish reasons, because unconsciously I've realized I'm sort of making free time in my schedule around those dates and if they slip considerably I'll need to be unplugged from fandom during the single and album drop. For my own peace of mind (because I myself don't accomplish anything without deadlines) I also really trust that there are dates that Adam and co. are trying to meet that they just have chosen not to share with us, rather than it being as open-ended as Adam, RCAEd, the tweeting from Oz about upcoming RCA/Sony releases make it seem. It seems like it would be hard to pre-schedule certain important promo opportunities without even internal dates. I'm fully confident at this point that the music will be interesting and has a good chance of being really good. I just want to be a present and active fan during the drop times. ETA: I would of course LOVE for mys*&@^#r and Susie to have interpreted the signs correctly. (I'm partly just trying to manage my expectations to keep my enthusiasm for the long haul).

Here is my thinking regarding all these release date related comments:
I have observed this seemingly ongoing contradiction now for a while and your posts summarize it perfectly: We are getting this perception (discussed by SuzieFierce and Mys*&@^#r) of completeness, of jubilant confidence on one hand, and then we get these other comments (see Rabbitrabbit's post) that sound completely non-committal, as if we were at least 6 months away from anything major happening.
Somehow this does not add up, so I believe that some of the announcements are a major goose chase that we attentive fans are being sent on. They have some major event/ big reveal coming up that we are not yet privy to knowing and working their messaging of the rest around that to distract us. Because otherwise some things do not add up.
That's my story and I am sticking to it. :-)

Christina & Cee Lo are headlining the MJ tribute??? hhmmmm LMAO! Has "The Voice" signed with 19 or are they doing a cross-promotion? (19 owns rights to MJ and all that ...) Sooo, looks like Kelly's release date has been set for our hypothetical release date of August 30. There has been some frustration on Twitter, but I'm not surprised or worried. We knew Kelly's album has been done for a while. And we knew she would likely release before Adam. I'm kind of encouraged, actually, to get a concrete date for her. If she releases 8/30, he can release 8/6 (or maybe more ideal for radio promo), 9/13 (eek! lucky number 13). I don't believe that one has to eclipse the other at all. I think Kelly is an established artist and RCA doesn't have to "sell" her. She's always good and reliable, but not the next "new sensation!!" I think she'll get airplay without too much selling. Adam, OTOH, could probably have the best single since the existence of carbon-based life forms and PDs will still have to be wined and dined. That's okay. Makes him more urgent.
