JarettSays Jarett Wieselman Adam Lambert -- one of my most fun interviews thus far. Whole interview posting in Sept but check back tmrw for a music centric sneak peek! I am going to make a prediction of a date for Adam's single. Based on what RCA has done with Cook and Kelly's and using Nov 8th as the album release date.... I predict the single will be released Sept. 20th!  (I don't know why people were expecting August, for a November album.) |

At this point, I'm just hoping that Adam's lead single will be released before the Grammy deadline. It would be a bummer if Adam didn't have anything eligible for consideration for the 2012 Grammys.
Yes, I'm being presumptuous and assuming the lead single will be Grammy-worthy and all sorts of awesome.

Pretty darned off topic, but Anoop tweeted something a friend of his said about my son's band.
(And, of course, Anoop is friends with Adam so it is relevant... lol) Here's the tweet:

Oct. 1, 2010 – Sept. 30, 2011Now the cool thing is that if the single is relased in Sept. and the album in November, then he would be eligible 2 years. 2012 for the single and then 2013 for the album. I think coming close to the deadline is the way Lady Antebellum ended up being nominated for 2 years in a row. (Man, I got so sick of seeing them!) |

Didn't Jani Lane do Celebrity Rehab? If so that is two deaths from overdose this year. So sad.
