It really is not Simon's show. Yes, he is the creator and Executive Producer but he cannot do deals that enrich himself and do not drive ratings. Fox-TV, Freemantle and the big sponsors would sue him in 1-2-3...... One clue we have about the range of artists who will be associated with X-Factor is X-Factor promo #2 which featured Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, The Black Eyed Peas, Usher, Lady Gaga, the Pussycat Dolls and Madonna. No Syco artists. Warners, UMG, Sony, and Madonna (LiveNation distributed by Warners). Also, Simon has a long term deal with Sony and his label Syco Music is a joint venture between Simon and Sony Music Entertainment. I think there is only one sure thing X-Factor -- Simon Fuller will not be invited to be backstage. I expect nothing about Adam and X-Factor but think it is really possible for Adam to be on the show. I just remembered that when Adam was in UK last year and X-Factor UK was still still going on for that season and they didn't invite him to perform; Unlike X-Factor Australia. We do not know what offers Adam's management got for UK -- we just know what he did. But when the UK promo trips were put together Adam was managed by Simon Fuller -- Simon Cowell was and is the Exec Producer of X-Factor UK. The two Simons were in the midst of legal battles at the time -- still are. Situation is different now -- Simon Fuller hasn't managed Adam for a long time, Fuller is no long at 19 and Adam is no managed by 19M.

Read Adamtopia - check. Checked emails - check. Refresh Adamtopia - check. Sneaked a look at AWOP - check. Refresh Adamtopia - check. SS Sauli - check. Shower. Refresh Adamtopia - check. Look back at ten pages of Daily News and Information from Adamtopia - check. Realize today is the slowest news day since 2/12/11 - that's as far as my computer will go back - check. Seize the opportunity to post on this newsworthy day! And do a little math; 336 hours ago - RIGHT NOW - Adam premiered "Outlaws of Love"!!! Is this the really, really 'calm' before the storm?? Lmao, I am so feeling you, we actually have a lot to flail about, but dont know why no one is flailing. I think people want something to constantly flail over, not flail, then get the wind taken out of them and wait forever for something else to flail about, to go back and do it all over again..

Thanks for the unbirthday treats and wishes, Lulu and MyS*&@^#r. Finished off the ice cream a little while ago. I might just make this a weekly event. ETA - The August photo on the free : AFL calendar is a crowd shot. It always gave me a thrill when the GNL fan videos would pan the audience and we could get a glimpse of the love and energy coming his way. Suz often made a point of capturing that.

Someone tell me where the Ste Agathe link is! PLEASE! I'm not sure about a link to Ste. Agathe - but there was the 7/29 masked ball thread. On 7/30 page one, the video of 'Outlaws of Love' is there; along with the lyrics; and, further down the page, as well as on succeeding pages, are videos of the other songs Adam performed. Is this what you're looking for? I think other 'Topians have made a 'video thread' of all the songs, in the order they were presented at Ste. Agathe. What a night. What a night! What an incredible night!

Adam Lambert — This might be an easy call, but I think these two could be phenomenal together. There are enough similarities and differences and each would boost each other to different levels. Lambert’s big but still not huge so I think he’d fit in fine.I love this. "Adam's big, but still not huge," denotes the author's faith that he's going in that direction. Also, LOVE what George Michael is trying to do and he is a phenomenal vocalist. I don't know if the timing is right for Adam, but if it benefits gay causes, that could be incredible! (And so cool the UHH mention and Sia's voice floored me the other day – love those ideas too.) George Michael the one person besides Adam who can cover a song that I love and have it end up being my favorite version. I think "Somebody to Love" and "Don't Let the Sun Go Down On Me" are probably two of my top five favorite songs of all time and I adore his covers of both. There are several vids of George and Elton's duet, but I chose this one because holy crap, those jeans look fab on him. The beard and sunglasses, nsm, though. He is an amazing live singer. Such an interesting contrast with him and Elton John at Live Aid – all they've struggled with in their personal lives and careers and it inspired me to watch Adam's BTM again and made me so happy that he hasn't had to hide in the way that they did or felt they did. Also kind of cracked me up to realize, if I think about my favorite vocalists of all time, they would be Elton, George, Freddie and of course Adam (do I sense a pattern here? : LOL!!) "Somebody to Love" live at Wembly, Freddie tribute concert: (Also, thinking about it, George's solo sound had an incredible balance of pop, soul, dancey, deep songs that still hold up extremely well ...) Thank you, Susie, for these - especially Somebody to Love! An amazing performance!!! When I see these arenas filled with loving fans..... Someday....
