[ OMG... we're actually on page 3???!!!!  SLOWEST DAY EVAH!!!!! Question: Is X-Factor just for singing? Can it also be dance routines? Jugglers? Fire eaters? :  Only singing (although in the UK version that's quite a loose term!). There's more production, eg backing dancers, effects etc than Idol. It was because UK X Factor was so crappy that I started channel-surfing and found AI so I do owe mega-thanks to X Factor!!! |

Here are my completely guessing estimates on when I think Adam/RCA will and should release his first single and the album. 1st single - Released the week of Sept 19.Album - Released the week of Nov 15. By releasing the single on 9/19, this give the single 8 weeks to do what it is going to do before the 11/15 album release. In this 8 week period, it will have plenty of time to either become a major hit and help drive album sales, or it will give RCA time to evaluate whether they should move to another single before the album release. Also The X-Factor premiers on 9/21, so maybe the can work in a single premiere on The X-Factor. By releasing the album on 11/15, this gives them a strong opening week sales regardless of when it is released, but then they have a second week with Black Friday in the mix to help keep second week sales strong. Hey, that was my guess, it's already taken!! (I kid, I kid!!) ;D |

I love your logic. I think premiering the single on X-Factor would be brilliant. You know the ratings will be high, at least initially, because everyone will want to see if Simon pulled it off or not. Do you know if the live shows will be airing by 9/21, or will they be doing taped auditions at that point. They will be the auditions that are already taped. :( X-Factor's music label is Sony so Adam performing during their season is not only possible, but probable! |

Augh! If part of the release strategy was to make the fans wait for the album and the hoopla to start like the kingdom come, building expectations almost impossible to fulfill, they have succeeded! Personally.. I think that I have been in a state of suspense since the Canada concert, and the flames got higher with BTM. Now I'm refreshing Atop like a crazy person, already ready to rip my hair and gnaw the nearby trees to pieces like a beaver, and nothing is happening! Nyaargh! When when when does the promo start?! *another fan on the ladder*   |

Yes, but it is usually (or always) the artists that the PDs play no matter what the song sounds like. If Adam has 2 big ones, in a row, maybe RCA will feel comfortable doing that with him too. I want at least 3 or 4 singles from this album. If his singles go up the charts faster than last time, it could happen! |
