NoAngel, I have company trying to sleep in this morning, and I couldn't help but LOL! Ah, well, after a couple glasses of wine last night, my obsession was fully exposed anyway. As if finding a way to interject Adam into nearly every topic of conversation wasn't enough, they wanted to check their email and opened gmail. The account that is totally dedicated to Adam news alerts popped up! So, I'm sure if I woke them up with my unsuccessfully suppressed giggles, they probably just whispered "Adam" and fell back asleep, or they're packing their bags! Happy birthday needacoke!

OMG! Neat! I'd never seen tht Citizen Vein Birthday one! The runners are really making me look bad. My daughter and son-in-law go out and run around Atlanta Memorial Park every morning while I sit here and eat cake. hehe I do enjoy standing at the living room window and watch them run by (and every other in shape person in Atlanta). Does that count for anything? #immaslug I've never seen that Citizen Vein one either. He is so sexy in those vids (not like he isn't in the others), but it's a darker, more mysterious side that's so different. All his many incarnations are so fascinating and so sexy. I agree with what everyone has said about why he is sexy: confidence, fearlessness, your basic stunning physical beauty, courage to be different, playful yet intense. It is all compelling and it all works. It is the dichotomies I find so compelling – the fierce vulnerability; the takes-no-prisoners stage persona v. the happy boy just having fun; the dark and the light; the male and the female, the yin and the yang, the young and the old, the trained professional v. the wild improviser, etc. etc. But one of the main components in all of this his palpable chemistry with almost everyone he interacts with – including his audience. On Idol, he had incredible chemistry with most everyone else on stage (save for Gokey, lol); he definitely had it with Paula and even Simon, Kara, Ryan and Randy; when he makes eye contact and completely engages, there is an electric connection there, even when he's challenging someone. (Simon) Since then, it's rare that we ever see or hear an interview that sounds forced or that he and the interviewer(s) aren't connecting. Even if they are coming from an antagonistic position, he charms them and almost always wins them over. With GNT, he had crazy chemistry with every other person on stage (we only got glimpses of Cam, Isaac and LP because they were set so far back), but it most certainly was there. (The Cam neck-lick, ZOMG! ) LOL, I mainly meant to just comment on that Citizen Vein HB vid. Oops! : : Well, let's just say, there is no end to this subject ...

Mayumi....just saw your post. Sounds like a plan !!! Always looking for another excuse to get together with my Atop pals to celebrate our Adam. YES !!!! Mangokat, Nobody, Maitos, Smokey, Mallow (are you lurking - haven't seen you around in long time), Babs12 - this will be a repeat of our Atlanta get together. Anyone else, let me know - I'll have your beds and drinks ready. Will April 2 work for you guys? Those traveling, you can come on Friday if you want. This will be so much fun! Mayumi has a home theater system with a screen larger than some in metroplex theaters. Plus sound system. It's gonna be an awesome sqeeeeing, drooling experience. Watch out, Mayumi --- you might have a couple of guests flying in to join us!!

I've already informed my daughter I'm having a viewing at her house. She has a new large screen TV, although not nearly that large, and speakers that I covet!

Kittykay, LMAO: "you may have seen it." UNDERSTATEMENT of the year. I wonder if that :38 sec vid is THE MOST WATCHED footage of AFL ever. How would one go about finding the Adam vid with the most views anyway? Any super ninja have the answer?

Agnelle,
Wow, no kidding!!! Just how many beds do you have, Mayumi?"
Let's just say I can sleep about 10 comfortably then of course, air matresses are always handy. So come on down!
On a sad note, just learned my dear friend passed early this morning so I will be very busy the next few days. Glad we held a "celebration of life" party for him at his house on Wednesday. We laughed, we cried, we said our goodbyes. He smiled at our stories. So Godspeed my dear friend!
NoAngel - thanks for the laugh today. I needed that. You rock!

I haven't finished reading today's thread quite yet. I do have something I want to comment on and this is my opinion as a member, not a mod. It was pretty clear to me when I read yesterday's thread last night that for some people the fan fic conversation was going over like a lead balloon. I'm not a fan fic reader, when I'm in the mood to read I go find more traditional reading material. That being said, I have no problems with that sort of conversation here. It's within the guidlines and obviously of interest to some people. Scroll is my friend. I'm not particularly interested in disecting Adam's personal life but I would never make a post along the lines of..... "You are talking about that again?" I would hope that any topic that relates to Adam is acceptable. And if the topic at hand isn't your thing perhaps starting another conversation is the best thing to do. I would hate to see members feel shut down just because something that interests them isn't something that interests the majority. We can have more than one conversation at the same time. Thanks for saying this tina....as a participant in that discussion I wondered if I had broken some rule or crossed a line I wasn't aware of when some became very vocal about not liking the conversation. I feel better knowing I wasn't out of line. I have to agree... your perspective of fandom is refreshingly honest and hysterical in it's truthfulness. Happy BDay Coke

How would one go about finding the Adam vid with the most views anyway? Any super ninja have the answer? It's easy to find the most viewed YouTube videos. Search for Adam and then select the search option "Most Viewed." Here it is. Over 17 million views.
