Kittykay, LMAO: "you may have seen it." UNDERSTATEMENT of the year. I wonder if that :38 sec vid is THE MOST WATCHED footage of AFL ever. How would one go about finding the Adam vid with the most views anyway? Any super ninja have the answer? The original posted by Erin Fisher only has 111,000 views. I am sure there are other copies. I couldn't find them under 38 seconds.

Commercial break CBC station ...The Fifth Estate...documentary on right now 10am
Story of Brendan Burke son of former VP of National Hockey League and ach of NHL team. A third grade picture highlighted for the mother the thought her youngest (third son ) was gay. Mom kept the feeling to herself. Was in an all boys school ...one of the best most poular student
Edited: ...he came out in college, killed in a car accident. The focus is on bringing gay issues out ..can be open. Also highlighting the rugby/soccer stars who came out.
FYE was playing in the background on the #1 British soap show Coronation Street. Canada airs it months behind the British version (This could be the same segment someone commented about a while back). I don't even know why I am listening to it this morning while working through the thread ...gave up on it years ago. Someone associated with the show in England loves some Adam.

I haven't finished reading today's thread quite yet. I do have something I want to comment on and this is my opinion as a member, not a mod. It was pretty clear to me when I read yesterday's thread last night that for some people the fan fic conversation was going over like a lead balloon. I'm not a fan fic reader, when I'm in the mood to read I go find more traditional reading material. That being said, I have no problems with that sort of conversation here. It's within the guidlines and obviously of interest to some people. Scroll is my friend. I'm not particularly interested in disecting Adam's personal life but I would never make a post along the lines of..... "You are talking about that again?" I would hope that any topic that relates to Adam is acceptable. And if the topic at hand isn't your thing perhaps starting another conversation is the best thing to do. I would hate to see members feel shut down just because something that interests them isn't something that interests the majority. We can have more than one conversation at the same time. Thanks for saying this tina....as a participant in that discussion I wondered if I had broken some rule or crossed a line I wasn't aware of when some became very vocal about not liking the conversation. I feel better knowing I wasn't out of line. I have to agree... your perspective of fandom is refreshingly honest and hysterical in it's truthfulness. Happy BDay Coke Yes, thank you Tinafea. Keeping the topic general, but one of the things that stanning Adam has taught me is ways in which I've prejudged people or things based on appearances and assumptions. I too held a two-year preconception about "certain things" based only on snippets of information and wanted NO part of it. Yet I knew that people I related to and respected enjoyed said "certain things." It took a looong while, but I finally decided to lay down my prejudices and try to understand what these things were about. And like with most assumptions, I found out the ones I made were largely incorrect; I was painting a very diverse medium with a broad, generalizing brush and judging from the outside-in. And therefore totally guilty of things I rail against when people have knee-jerk reactions to Adam based on a few surface details.

Agnelle, Wow, no kidding!!! Just how many beds do you have, Mayumi?" Let's just say I can sleep about 10 comfortably then of course, air matresses are always handy. So come on down! On a sad note, just learned my dear friend passed early this morning so I will be very busy the next few days. Glad we held a "celebration of life" party for him at his house on Wednesday. We laughed, we cried, we said our goodbyes. He smiled at our stories. So Godspeed my dear friend! NoAngel - thanks for the laugh today. I needed that. You rock! {{{{mayumi}}} I'm so sorry for your loss. It's beautiful that you were able to celebrate his life just before his transition. Take care!!

Just for fun and because I was curious ... Justin Bieber - Baby 468,190,987 views/7,452,980 twitter followers = 62.8 views per follower
Adam Lambert - If I Had You 17,229,325 views/880,521 twitter followers = 19.6 views per follower I guess this means that on a scale of BSC, we have a long way to go. ETA - New thought... Let's assume that only hard core BSC fans would watch the :38 second video multiple time, then: 111,286 views/19.6 views per BSC follower = 5678 BSC followers I suppose that means that before we can decide if JB fans are truly hard core, we need an equivalent :38 second video...Ewwww!
