This is an old quote and was rehashed at length about a week ago -- in summary: -- Edge was explaining that RCA has a strong roster of artists across genres, and made a point that rock was an important genre for the label. He listed artists who represented all the genres he mentioned in his interview that have platinum albums and mega singles. -- All of the artists mentioned are established, bankable artists with multiple hit albums. -- Many big selling artists were not on the list. Adam is a new artist who only has released one album, it is not platinum [yet], he hasn't demonstrated that he can move beyond the Idol first hit album, he doesn't have multiple hit singles. Check out the sales history of every artist listed by Edge -- Adam is just not there yet. He will be, but not yet. Thanks, Q3, for explaining this to me...I must have missed this article. Here's a cover of Soaked by Alex Forriols (Spain Idol)- the same guy who did Fever. He did If I Had You, too but I didn't like that one as well. Does anyone know this guys story (we may have discussed this before but I don't recall it)? Thanks Cookie. I like his rendition though I wish he didn't go overboard towards the end. |

Umm, guys...anyone registered at AWoP here? Rumor has it Adam sang at Brooke's wedding  He may have, but who would actually know that? @bdwaydiva1 said a regular poster is a friend of groom's family. |
