@bdwaydiva1 said a regular poster is a friend of groom's family. We'll probably never know, but I wonder what he sang? Unchained Melody? LOL lisaloopner wrote: About the wedding ... you may recall that my brother is bartender to the groom's father, who told him Adam is singing at the wedding. adamwithoutpity.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=194&p=113657&hilit=wedding#p113657Is it okay to bring posts from other boards?

ITA with MyS*&@^#r about Adam only needs two big radio singles to break through and my hunch has been for quite some time that he is poised to do it. And it's not just whip-cream-boob wielders. Once someone breaks through on a station like KIIS-FM, they play everything from that person, pretty much. And it includes Bruno, Eminem, Dr. Dre, Chris Brown, etc. (yes, I know, they're all rhythmic as well, but there aren't many other examples of non-rhythmic male pop artists out there right now).
Yes, radio PDs can be pains in the ass, but there are several things I believe are going to improve this time around (totally my personal hunch from obvservation). If there was actual gay backlash going on, things have changed a lot in just two years. That BS has been called out and continues to be called. You can't just get away with that shit anymore.
Also, I think there is a level of "talent show contestant backlash," there's a feeling that they haven't "earned" their place, so they set the bar a little bit higher for these people. By their sophomore albums, it seems the freeze thaws a bit (like Kelly) IF they're good.
Claude, Bonnie and Benny have been involved in a huge number of the smash radio hits in the past 1-2 years. All have been heavily involved in Adam's project. They carry cred. My hope is that they'll do a one-two punch similar to Pink's fist two singles. Lead with a very catchy, uptempo (ala "Raise Your Glass") and follow up with a midetempo, meaningful song (ala "Fucking Perfect"). The second releasing around album time, I think.

Now yer just torturing yourself. "Can't Let You Go" is about heartbreak, I kind of doubt he would sing that at a wedding. I think "Suburban Decay" is dead and buried. Oh, BTW, I just ordered my pendant. I had some bills to pay first, but figured I would just do Bill Me Later on Pay Pal. #Done

Hmm. Well someone needs to mercilessly hound politely ask this young man what Adam sang so that we can be all miserable and ragey about the fact that we'll never hear it know.
