is the plan to spend all day discussing the origins or the new pics? :-/ I thought it was pretty thoroughly covered last night. If that's the topic of the day I guess scroll will be my friend or I'm going to be forced to do RL stuff.  Can I get an AAAAAAAAAAAAMEN!?!?  |

I never could figure out what was "theatrical" about that audition. The vocie was so perfect. Adam was so understated. WTF were Kara and Simon talking about! I'd be willing to bet that if Adam hadn't mentioned his theater experience beforehand, the judges never would have used the word "theatrical." He just stood there and sang the song as perfectly as it could be sung. What's theatrical about that? I remember reading somewhere that when the judges said "theatrical", they meant he is "too gay". PS: Did you guys notice that when you quote the third time, the original quote disappeared by itself? |

Okay, call me crazy, but something about Adam standing on that wave runner reminded me of a knight standing in the stirrups of his steed looking out over the country side. Very noble and masterful. Love this image, Cassie! :D |

*giggling here* pastababy....You must concur that whoever took the photos did a mighty fine PR job for Adam....he looks incredible! ;D yep fierce! however, the privacy of his trip was disturbed. i guess he now knows he is not safe anywhere. |

Just a thought. If the pictures were taken by paps, why did A & S just stay there? They were on jet skis for krissake. "Oh shit, there's a photographer. Let's haul ass." I don't care how "big" the lens was, they could have gotten out of camera range. I'm also with those thinking that Sauli saw a sea creature. In those type of waters, I'd say a stingray, since they will swim close to the top and come "play" around swimmers, boats, etc. Seeing the term "A&S" always make me think of Abraham & Strauss. Which leads me to thinking of Gimbels, Orbachs, B. Altman, Marshall Fields, Hecht's -- straight down the defunct dept. store rabbit hole... Sorry, carry on... Edited cuz 'rabit' is so not 'rabbit.'ETA2: This is totally an LOL comment, not implying we should not refer to them as A&S. I should've appended a smiley. |

No, not crazy at all. Adam looks tall and proud and strong and masterful - like the fantasy cover of a romance novel except that he is so real, so incredibly gorgeous. And his "viking" is so pretty. ITA I have never been able to understand what they were talking about either! I think that they knew who he was and had seen Zodiac show videos and Upright Cabaret. They kept the "theatrical" thing going all through, as if it was something bad! What business did they think they were all in anyway??? |

I don't think Adam mentioning whether or not he did theater influenced Simon's comment. That's the "code" they've typically used. And I don't really remember them ever using it to describe a female With Kara, I actually do think her critique wasn't code or influenced by knowing his background. It wasn't simply theatrical but she described what she meant by that. As for the pics, I guess we'll never know. I will say that there are paps in Bora Bora. I remember seeing pics from a super private couple who would do things like immediately separate as soon as they knew their pics were being taken. They went on vacation to Bora Bora and the first few pics were of them holding hands but once they saw the cameras, they split up. I think any place that is a favorite destination of celebs has paps who are probably locals. |
