While I love that he is calling out the cray cray, the problem is that those are the ones that will never get it. The majority of us are respectful of his life, his privacy, his band, his friends, etc... but the ones that are causing the problem most likely will not stop because of Adam's messages today. It's really sad.
I love Twitter 99% of the time but the people that abuse it to say hateful things make me sad.

I really love that Adam is so positive and refuses to say anything bad about people unless they attack him directly.
He is open and kind.
He is not a gossip.
He does not speculate about people's motives, feelings or actions.
He does not tell others how to live their lives.
He gives people the benefit of the doubt.
But when pushed, he refuses to be cowed and is definitely not afraid to hit back and firmly take a stand.
He collects good karma. He is my role model.

Okay, mini rant... I rarely post about deep shit; choosing instead to talk about the Hair and concert recaps, etc. However, my fingers insist on typing this. This is why I don't bother myself w/Adam's personal life. If some folks can remember, I stayed out of that whole Drake mess because Adam's personal life IS.NONE.OF.MY.BUSINESS. Ultimately, I don't know Adam nor do I know any of his family, friends, love interests or acqaintances. I am his fan and will dissect his music and act silly (on a board/forum) over HIM. Other areas of his life are off limits to me. From what I can glean, he is astute enough to know why he chooses his partners and friends and to whom he should go if he needs or wants advice. Who am I, as a fan, to be butting into his personal space? I am not telling anyone how to stan but just had to get that off my chest. [It took me so long to fight w/myself about posting this and to kinda hold my tongue a little, that you guys may have moved away from this already.] *Off to go oggle his numerous hairstyles and calm the eff down* I think the problem lies not with dissecting personal lives--which is bound to happen--it's with knowing the limits and realizing in the end you don't know SHIT and to act like a rational person and not like some person who just escaped outta the loony bin. For the most part I don't care who Adam dates, but I kid around with it and such but the problem seems to be is that some get too invested in it and that's....disturbing. There is a line between gossiping and sill, harmless stuff and just being bsc. Tweeting to Adam that he "hurt" his "luvah" Tommy is just....beyond. Perfect way to put it.ITA |

I agree. I have enjoyed checking out Sauli because Adam seems to like him, and as it turns out Sauli seems to be a cute, dorky sweetheart. But if he and Adam never speak to each other again, it won't make a bit of difference to me and I'll probably want to check out the next guy he seems interested in. I find some of his friends/ex's/potential bf's more interesting than others, but I am completely aware that this is SO not about me. Which gets us back to #teamAdamwilldowhateverthefuckhewants.You read my mind; thank you! P.S. Sorry for spamming the thread today; hubby isn't home til later tonight and I'm taking full advantage of it! It's been MY life--at least for today. LOL |

It's my first impression that Tommy went crying to Adam instead of taking care of matters himself, and he expected Adam to fix it - which of course he did cause Adam takes care of his friends. I think it would have been better for Tommy to man up and take care of business himself. He's got a "twitter finger" too. Hope that didn't spoil Adam's homecoming. No i believe its what Noangel said about those fans who put also Adam's name on their post and this is how Adam found out, i dont belive Tommy would do this, he is a friend and he wouldnt want to ruin Adam's happiness. A twit longer was sent directly to Tommy last night. It wasn't pretty. Even Taylor hinted about it late last night. |
