I really love that Adam is so positive and refuses to say anything bad about people unless they attack him directly. He is open and kind. He is not a gossip. He does not speculate about people's motives, feelings or actions. He does not tell others how to live their lives. He gives people the benefit of the doubt. But when pushed, he refuses to be cowed and is definitely not afraid to hit back and firmly take a stand. He collects good karma. He is my role model. This comes under the "right click, save" category. Thank you. |

Okay, mini rant... I rarely post about deep shit; choosing instead to talk about the Hair and concert recaps, etc. However, my fingers insist on typing this. This is why I don't bother myself w/Adam's personal life. If some folks can remember, I stayed out of that whole Drake mess because Adam's personal life IS.NONE.OF.MY.BUSINESS. Ultimately, I don't know Adam nor do I know any of his family, friends, love interests or acqaintances. I am his fan and will dissect his music and act silly (on a board/forum) over HIM. Other areas of his life are off limits to me. From what I can glean, he is astute enough to know why he chooses his partners and friends and to whom he should go if he needs or wants advice. Who am I, as a fan, to be butting into his personal space? I am not telling anyone how to stan but just had to get that off my chest. [It took me so long to fight w/myself about posting this and to kinda hold my tongue a little, that you guys may have moved away from this already.] *Off to go oggle his numerous hairstyles and calm the eff down* I'm with you on this. I could see this Tommy crap coming. Too many fans too emotionally involved with real/perceived Adam love- interests. There are now a whole contingent of Sauli fans setting themselves up for disappointment, if this relationship doesn't last. NS Terrific discussion about "rock voice grit" and Adam's clear voice. (You can tell by that sentence that I don't know what the hell I'm talking about. ) |

I hope that is buttered popcorn because I was only checking in but now I'mma going to stay for a bit. Haven't seen a good fan meltdown in a while. Adam must be "feeling good' after his vacation. |

I agree. I have enjoyed checking out Sauli because Adam seems to like him, and as it turns out Sauli seems to be a cute, dorky sweetheart. But if he and Adam never speak to each other again, it won't make a bit of difference to me and I'll probably want to check out the next guy he seems interested in. I find some of his friends/ex's/potential bf's more interesting than others, but I am completely aware that this is SO not about me. Which gets us back to #teamAdamwilldowhateverthefuckhewants.  |

First, I love Adam's tweets. He is a master of his own message and life. It is a great communications model. Figured he would chime in eventually. I really do not think it took anything more than him looking at his own Twitter feed so that he knew that a few Adommy fans had going OTT batshit crazy.
I am now committed to using Twitter more wisely.
I have cut my Tweet deck down to the people I know, media sources, reliable Adam fans and Adam & Co.
I rarely look at Twitter feeds to Adam because it just takes a few people trying to stir up Twitter to make a mess of Adam fandom. Like someone said earlier -- it is so Junior High. (Some of the loudest tweeters are over 50 and there is just no excuse for what they do. They are old enough to know better.)
I made the mistake of doing some broad Twitter searches yesterday -- put me in a cranky mood so sorry y'all.
In the meantime, I am stuck in Mississippi for an extra day -- thanks bad weather in Chicago!
Finally, a few months ago -- when PF went poof -- I had nowhere to talk about Adam. And nowhere to keep important Adam stuff online. I put up a little forum -- without much planning. I really did not expect anyone to come. Now, I've decided that we're going to be around for a while -- we are pretty tenacious. So I am making a few changes to ensure that in the future there will be someplace to learn about Adam, talk about Adam and share his music.
This forum will stay alive as the main site. Adamtopia 1 (I like that new name) will remain as a backup in case of disaster -- its mere existence ensuring that it will never be needed. So I guess that makes this Adamtopia 3.0.
Big news --- Next Sunday, I will launch a formal archive of all things Adam. More details in next Sunday's news but it will be the home to the Atop concert archives -- and other info. Since the beginning of PF I wanted to do this but RL intervened. Now I finally have done it.

Not sure it was Miley dissing, so much as Ryan (or another radio host) during the run of AI8 asking her who she thought was cute. I think she said something like, Isn't he... then stopped and laughed and then covered up with, I like his eyeliner, or eyeliner isn't my type, or I'm not his type. I remember it more like as the fact that people knew Adam was gay, but no one commented publicly on it because Adam himself hadn't yet? I don't know, in the long run, it didn't seem so bad to me. But then again, I don't automatically think any celebrity is purposefully dissing Adam unless they're purposefully dissing him. Twitter rant effective. It seems some of Adam's fans are like Star Trek groupies or something, at least in the twitter universe. I don't care about his fans or his personal life (ok, I like keeping track of his fashion). I just miss new Adam music, not more recycled stuff out of FYE. If anyone has new music recs to help over this help, let me know. DH is into The Black Keys and other similar stuff, and I'm now worn out of all the pop girls - Katy, Rihanna, Ke$ha, Gaga, Robyn. Maybe I should get some vintage Madonna LOL. Jessie J looks great, but her songs less so. Can't get into Florence and the Machine. Do Adam and Chamillionaire follow each other now? That guy was great. OT: And thanks to whoever mentioned the NBA halftime show. Rihanna was all kinds of awesome imo - isn't she only 20 too? Wow. She's like a performing MVP right now, everywhere at all times. When do these stars burnout? She has 9 more years until Adam's age, and at this rate, 9 more albums. |

ITA -- really, the only major craziness has been Kradam (which seems to be dead now) and Adommy (many of the Kradam people). I do not recall any major issues when Drake and Adam parted. Nor do I think there will be any if/when Adam and Sauli part. I honestly think that 99%+ of fans just want Adam to be happy and live the life he wants. |

I know in my mid 20s, I has enough sense to just watch from the sidelines and be careful offering advice or opinions even when asked. Even less, why, why, why would anyone twitter opionions to Adam, when they don't actually know this person. I don't get it. |
