OMG ignore the panicky tweet I just sent you. Glad you're okay and my heart is bleeding for the people of Christchurch. I have been there.. it was such a beautiful place... it will be again. love Thanks everyone for your love and concern. I'm in shock here watching the live feed - it's bad - really, really, really bad. The city has run out of ambulances. Aloha, do you remember the cathedral in the main square? Sadly it is now almost destroyed I gather. This quake is gonna be real hard for the city to recover from. The city still hadn't recovered from the previous one back in September. Strangely, if I wasn't an Adam fan I would still be blissfully ignorant of this event - my twitter feed alerted me. Of course i remember it-- I'm standing in front of it in a picture! Oh now I'm crying. I'm so glad you're okay.

Thanks everyone for the concerns, I'm fine. I'm watching live footage of the earthquake on TV here and it is horrendous *sobs* This is the second MAJOR earthquake in Christchurch in the last six months. They still hadn't recovered from the last one. The last one happened in the early hours of the morning when most people were home in bed, sadly today's was at lunch time in the middle of a working day. They're saying that there probably is fatalities this time ETA since I typed the above sentence:- Multiple fatalities now confirmed The city centre in Christchurch is in chaos and some very special heritage buildings are down. The hospital has been evacuated and the airport is closed. The terror is palable. I live in Auckland which is in the top half of the North Island. Christchurch is at the top of the South Island. This is still a national crisis tho. Am sending love and light to all affected. Glad to hear you are okay but sad about the other events.

I've never experienced an earthquake but have a massive tornado and it took the city years to recover from the destruction. My heart goes out to those recovering.

I haven't watched the news, yet. I was sleeping. My oldest daughter's future sister-in-law just had her house destroyed in NZ. She said her feet were cut up from broken glass. She is walking to her boyfriend's place of work, can't drive. She's worried about flooding. That's all I know. That's just dreadful - so very sad {{{BIG HUGS}}}

You rebel!!!!! Mackenzie has been trying to talk me into getting one. The last three trips she has made to Brazil she has come home with a new one. Yes, some one said earlier they are like potato chips you can not eat just one. I have almost decided to get either a sea turtle or salt water croc., now where to put it. Aww, Cayman and Mys*&@^#r, me, too! That's why I've been looking at pics online for a while now! I just can't decide for sure what or where. Close as I can get to a decision is something small and meaningful on inside of wrist where I can cover it with a watch or cuff bracelet if I want to. It's about the only part of my bod that's not likely to droop! Cayman, someone had a great sea turtle avi here--bright green I think...who was that? I don't know, I missed it. Darn. When we were at Grand Cayman, we went to the sea turtle hatchery/rescue. The little ones are so cute! We went to Grand Cayman twice, I swam with a white lab everyday, that is how our white lab got his name. :D He loved our pool, so his name, although spelled Cayman, but, the kids thought he was more Caiman, salt water & fresh water swimmer. If my sons got a tattoo I would be cool with it, our granddaughter now has three of them and I wish she would have chosen a more discreet location for two of them :-/ She is returning to Brazil soon and is going to get more, a friend of hers down there does the tattooing and draws the designs. My husband, her grandfather is not happy at all, he is afraid she will get Hepatitis C, always the worry wart. What are you interested in getting? What do you think Adam has in mind?
