Well I did it! Yes I got a tatoo today. I've always wanted one but never knew what to get and you know it's forever. So in honor of my obsession with everything Lambert I got the eye of horus and infinity symbol on the inside of my right arm about half way up. It looks great and it makes me feel connected in some way. I'm in this fandom for the long haul and it will remind me how it all started. Oh and yes it did hurt, but just a little. Yay !!!! Welcome to the club ! You got both ! Are they just like Adams? I guess if you got both, it probably hurt a little more and took twice as much time as mine did. Since Wylie Perry had done Adam's and one other fan friend of mine from Atlanta, he knew exactly what I wanted. I took the insert pic from the Pennyroyal necklace box just to make sure he got it right. I did the Aquaphor thing 3 times a day for 3 days and then switched to Curel lotion and had no problems at all. It felt all healed @ 2 weeks. Good luck with yours ! We'll be connected to Adam forever ! Yes they are just like Adam's exept a little farther up on my arm. I bought the Aquaphor too. Wanted to do it right. The whole thing cost about 100.00 with the soap and cream

He said social work (which made me do a little cheer because I am one myself). I would love to have Adam be part of a club I belong to! He said psychology or social work. Psychology is what he repeated many times. Ooh, I heard social work and didn't see the psychology part, must be the interviews I am reading,

Adam's arms also look like they are sunburned in the jetski pictures. Is it a good idea to get tattoo when you are sunburned. I don't like tattoo's myself, especially full arm sleeves. It makes me sad Adam will cover His arm with tattoo's. :( I worry it will limit Adam's choices if He wants to Act in TV or Movies. He would be limited in roles or have to cover up the tattoo's :( Of course as Adam said it's His Life, His choice. The degree to which it limits you depends on how famous you already are. For a nobody just starting out, yes a disadvantage as it costs extra for the make-up or whatever to cover the tattoos if they need to be covered. For Angelina Jolie, who has plenty of tats, not so much a problem. Since he has a fanbase already I doubt that it would cause much trouble especially if they are approaching him for a role. If it's something he's going after, sure it's possible it would be seen as a liability but much less of a problem since he has a "name" already so to speak. Just like the utterly ridiculous fact that he could probably get any Broadway lead role he wants now but he couldn't before Idol no matter how frickin talented he was because what they want for leads more than talent is "names" to get butts in seats. I agree. LOTS of actors have tats now. Watch a soap opera and just about every beefcake male has one. They used to cover them up, but for the last four years or so, they stopped. I guess they consider it part of their character now. A sleeve is a little tougher, but they can cover up if they need to.

To everyone on the South Island of NZ -- my best. Earthquakes are not fun, aftershocks are worse. (My welcome to California was the Northridge Quake. But I still love LA and miss it.) The funny thing about tattoos -- the older you get, the less risk involved. I think the idea tattoo age is 80. You already know that you are mortal and will sag and droop someday (like now). No one who doesn't love you really wants to see any part of you naked in the broad daylight. You probably will not live for 80 more years, so it won't fade so much. It won't disqualify you for your first job. And you have fewer years to live with it than if you did it at 20, so if you make an error in judgment, so what. Oh, why wait until you are 80! I think WTF -- just shock your neighbors, kids, family, friends and co-workers -- and everyone from your church, synagogue or whatever you choose -- with a mysterious symbol of your independence. Of course, I think I will wait a few more years.

Fianlly retrieved my old avi after much confusion. JustKaren - are the proportions ok please? Just change the avatar height to 80 in your profile (leave width at 100) and you'll be good to go ... thanks for asking ... :D Done! Many thanks. I think it also looks a little less blurry now.
