Pastababy, yes these are pap pictures. Besides the "evidence" that you are quoting, there is the obvious that Adam makes no attempt to make a happy face, which for promo pictures he surely would have done. He looks in frustration seeing that they followed him even to the ends of the earth and when Sauli has his hands up in that "its that big" gesture, I presume that he was talking about their tele-lenses. Yup, not fun for Adam, if he can't hide there, where can he hide? In fact this is for the resort quite a marketing problem that these pictures are out, because I bet that their promise of seclusion and privacy as one of their main perks. I do believe that it is their own mistake, because if they would not have shown all that info at the Grammy booth at the time, we would not have been able to guess and neither would the paps have known. I think they must have underestimated the power of information spread in 2011. Have to say, as a fan I a torn, because I sure love these pics and enjoy them so I am as guilty as anyone else. Love his look, those trunks with that life jacket, his standing up straight and proud and yes I agree that posture is quite unique, as much a mixture of strong and gentle messages as he as a person represents, and just to soften any illusion of a tough, sportsman appeal, there always is that little nail polish. Totally unique. Gotta love him. We posted at the same time (I was trying to do my first embedded picture). I think the pictures do show what you are saying, especially the picture I embedded. Good point about the pap pix presenting a problem for the hotel. edit: as far as the info spread, don't know if you saw my post when I walked over to The Blonds fashion show. The paps use Twitter to track down celebs just like everyone else. The pap I was speaking to was on his mobile looking for Adam/Gaga tweets and knew that Adam had taken a flight that morning from a link on Twitter. |

Happy Bday Alison!!I don't think they're pap photos.... Adam is posing. He looks fierce, not angry.I suspect the photos were released to Splash. Also...apart from the obvious puns, I think Sauli is describing a fish or something he saw in the water - Adam is looking back as if he's looking for it - not at the beach where a camera lens "that big" would be. Someone mentioned that they thought Carrie Underwood honeymooned at this resort - I remember a couple of beach photos of her and her husband. I really think these types of pics are sanctioned by the celebrities. A hotel like this would not allow paps, and these photos are too good to have been taken from behind the bushes or whatnot. ITA. This is the ultimate black eye to the resort IF they are pap photos – a resort that caters to the rich and famous and has been doing so long before any of us heard of Adam Lambert and have likely had huge celebrities stay there for years; they know how to handle paps and security is probably one of its major selling points. If they now look like their security has been completely compromised by something that is part of a promotional gig, that's a major backfire. |

There is no way that a pap would fly to BoraBora, takes only around 12 pictures in an amount of 5 minutes and fly back to sell them. That is not how these things are working. We should not forget that Adam is not a Mega star yet. A hotel like the Regis would never allow a pap on their property - they have to lose a reputation, no star would ever visit the hotel again if they are not safe there. |

Adam has already given his review of where he stayed: "The St. Regis was top notch!" So I think everything's fine with how his stay there went.
(Adam looks GORGEOUS in these pics - I've seen LOTS of pics of stars on jet-skis and wave-runners - it's kind of "de rigueur" for celeb vacays, I think. I'll be surprised if we ever hear that he was mad about them or something like that, whoever took them/why - that's just my hunch, though, nothing more or less.)

Just a thought. If the pictures were taken by paps, why did A & S just stay there? They were on jet skis for krissake. "Oh shit, there's a photographer. Let's haul ass." I don't care how "big" the lens was, they could have gotten out of camera range. I'm also with those thinking that Sauli saw a sea creature. In those type of waters, I'd say a stingray, since they will swim close to the top and come "play" around swimmers, boats, etc.

Two things: One, I think you underestimate the power of a telephoto lens on an professional camera. Have you ever seen the size of those things? Two, the resort owns the bungalow but not the ocean. A certain number of feet of the shore is considered part of the ocean. This is international law. How do the fancy resorts combat this? They block off the entrance to the beach. If you found a public footpath, and had the balls, there would be nothing stopping you from plunking your beach towel on the shore of any fancy hotel you desire. edit: in this case, it is obvious that the paps had a boat to get there. or even a motorized raft. the motorized rafts can hold eight people. that is what is used to get scuba divers to remote dives. |
