It could also be as simple as his needs outstripping her skill level. There is no shame in that I think. Even if he is going somewhere else that doesn't automatically mean he is no longer friends with her. I believe I remember her saying something at one point about someone trying to sweep up hair clippings and make off with them one of the times she did his hair after Idol. Besides I doubt she would have had the kind of security that might have been necessary precisely because it was well known that she was his stylist.

Oh, and don't go rollerblading on a pier when the storm hits. Or let your child out the day before with his/her surfboard even if he/she claims to be going to 7 Eleven. I'm sure the waters of North and South Carolina are full of surfers as we speak. The waves are killer in the days approaching a storm.

yeah...renewal link just went to the glam membership in the store and they said if you didn't get the email - just order it from the fanclub store. I'm getting a bit freaked out with this hurricane nonsense - I'm a little Canuck - WE DON'T DO HURRICANES!!! (well...Halifax sometimes gets some nasty bits, but still......eeeek!) I've been freezing water in every kind of container I can find! Haha! House is surrounded by HUMONGOUS trees - worried about losing power. :( I went 16 days without power after Wilma. The first day is tough then you kinda get used to it. Most unpleasant part is no hot water to shower if not a gas water heater. One more note. Be careful with generators, they can be very dangerous if used and fueled incorrectly. I know a few horror stories that I won't share, but FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS.

Who knows.. I would not have commented had I not just been feeling so good about him staying with her after fame et al. Of course he would go to others when on the road...and I have no doubt that Sutan could cut as well as style...to a degree at least. Re security...he just needed to have her come to him...that is no biggee at all, if that was the/an issue. If she could do the cuts he was sporting while on AI...she can do what he is wearing now so I doubt skill is the issue. The unique relationship between stylists and their clients is often very uneven and full of emotional hazaards. My PhD research is on this relationship...I have 40 years experience and as many detailed interviews with hairstylists on just this...so it interests me : ???

An hour or two without power and I'm ready to jump out the window. I wish the weather channel would stop with the hyperbole...cuz they're freakin' me out. "will be the worst storm East Coasters have ever seen" ......say WUT?!! C'mon now!! STOP IT!

STOP IT! 14 days with no power after Hurricane Ike. You get use to it. We had plenty of batteries for radio, battery powered TV, lanterns, flashlights, and fans. For me, the worst part was having to listen to the noisy generators from all the neighbors. If your home is intact and all you are dealing with is power outage, it is a nuisance, but it is strangely relaxing. All the ideas for stocking up for the storm are great, but experience has shown that all stores pretty much empty of food, batteries, water, ice, etc the day before the storm, so it is best to be prepared at the beginning of the hurricane season. If you can travel by car, after the hurricane get out of the affected area and go to grocery stores and restaraunts to enjoy fresh food and air conditioning. If you have car charger for cell phones, etc, this gives you a chance to recharge batteries.

Went through Georges in Key West, ultimate nightmare. Cut off from civilization, one radio station, no electricity, no trucks could get down US1 for days. Bertha in Myrtle Beach, Fran in MB we evacuated so boys wouldn't surf (shared house with my best friend, her college age daughter, her coll boyfriend, 2 dogs, 2 cats.) We looked like the Beverly Hillbillies with animal cages, guitar, suitcases, etc. Yes, the hype can be really aggravating........ if worst doesn't happen, but if it does, you'll be glad you listened. Everyone was poo-poohing Wilma because it was headed up west coast of FL. Only problem was it shot from Naples directly across the state and pounded Ft. Lauderdale. Some high rises lost all their windows, condo swimming pools washed right out of the ground, my office bldg had least damage of 7 bldgs in office park, including a big Westin, and still closed for whole week. Funniest thing was that I actually used some aviation fuel in my car because gas stations closed or if one was open, lines a mile-2miles long. My brother-in-law used his connections to get us into regional airport, caravan of 8 cars. Only problem was they were all close to empty, so couldn't risk it, but my tank was half full so I supplemented it with 100grade fuel they use on small aircraft. It's an adventure in urban survival!!! Not to be an alarmist, but things can go bad real fast if you aren't prepared.

I know....and I live on the other side of a different country but it sounded so scary that I switched to another channel. There, I watched robot planes that can kill people from 7 thousand miles away..yikes. Thank goodness for Stephen Colbert!!! he is on a hilarious roll about how healthcare will turn girls and women into rapacious sluts!! hahaha eta....makes my 3 days without power and 7 days marooned at home look like a cakewalk!!

Wilma was over 2 weeks without power for me plus a wrecked house. But I agree, after the storm passed, it was not that hard to survive. Although there were some days that it was way too hot without AC. It was pretty easy because we were prepared. My hardest was Spokane Washington (a late October ice storm took out all the power lines) -- 4 weeks in November without power. I had to move into a hotel because it was way too cold to stay in our house. Everything is electric up there -- and it was very cold and snowy. Like a miracle, the power came back on for Thanksgiving Day. Many of my employees and coworkers lived for a month or two without power, sharing our corporate HQ fitness center showers. We set up ad hoc day care cause all the schools were closed, and most peopled used camping gear in their houses. Really tough people up there.

That clip is from 2009, I believe I did hear he moved on. The hairstylist in me really hates to hear that....she was good enough when doing it for almost free but now...not so much!? That sucks...I have often had to tell students not to rely on customers 'really' being your friend but it sucks to see it happen....sadz... She didn't seem upset at all.. I think she is a friend. Also I'm sure Adam has said it's alright to use his name to get new business.Well she hasn't written a tell all book about Adam, that says a lot about their relationship.
