Argh, been watching weather news too. Sounds scary alright I‘m due to catch a train to NYC tomorrow morning, Friday fom Washington DC. On holiday so not as able to be prepared as I would be at home for an emergency. Hoping it‘s not as bad as they are predicting! Thanks 4 tips I‘ve heard here.

Chunkey,Late to the party as usual and only here for a minute but just had to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I started my internet fan addiction on Gossip Candy and I've been a huge fan of yours ever since. The way your mind works is awe inspiring. The connections you make from one thing to another, in an instant, never cease to amaze and entertain me (and so many others.) Old as you are...  I hope you manage to rock out on your birthday.

But we don't know why he left her. I wouldn't presume to know the reason. I hadn't completely fallen down the rabbit hole at the time, so my memory may be a bit faulty, but I think one of the L.A. Stalker Brigade went to Abrea pretty much for the express purpose of pumping her for info on Adam. At least according to said stalker, Abrea did some dishing on Adam/Brad, and their breakup. She wasn't very positive about Brad. IIRC, the stalker posted on IDF about it, although without sharing the details that Abrea allegedly shared with her. Maybe Adam caught wind of it, I dunno. If so, I can see him cutting her loose...justifiably, IMO. Thank you bocababe Finally, I have some confirmation of that conversation with Abrea ...Adam's hairdresser... and her view of the Adam/Brad relationship. I looked at it several times way back when. I looked in google more recently when Adam was on tour but never located the article. If it was linked through another blog that's perhaps why I never found it again. I have no clue whether her comment about Brad was fact or fiction; it was her view. I don't even know if it was a real interview...but it was sure written as if it was. Abrea's words (if they were her words) described the relationship..but that was her view of Brad at the time. In any case Brad and Adam broke up ...and in break-ups usually there are so many reasons...some of which even those in the relationship cannot pinpoint or verbalize completely. I previously asked on this site if anyone remembered the article....and no one responded. It was the time when all the pictures surfaced with Adam hanging with a guy in a red shirt/pink shirt in someone's apartment and his buddy had a modelling career turned something else, and the Brad fans were writing their feelings about this man Adam met. I am glad this topic came up again as I remember the feeling that no one believed me. I am old but could not "pull the dementia card" for my statements, and I had no proof. I feel vindicted (stupid huh!) Funny how we let little things like that get to us. Mzsue..he did still go to that hairdresser even after that article. Bad me in your eyes..I have changed after 8 years with several hairdressers due to wanting a change. |

The hairstylist in me really hates to hear that....she was good enough when doing it for almost free but now...not so much!? That sucks...I have often had to tell students not to rely on customers 'really' being your friend but it sucks to see it happen....sadz... She didn't seem upset at all.. I think she is a friend. Also I'm sure Adam has said it's alright to use his name to get new business.Well she hasn't written a tell all book about Adam,that says a lot about their relationship. I did not know someone had interviewed her about it! Would you mind sending me the link or heading me in the right direction, if you remember where you saw it? I always have an ear cocked for that sort of info...can't help it!  I actually can't believe I missed that! Thanks! |

I believe that Adam uses different hairdressers now because much of his hair needs are work related and he uses stylists who are experienced doing photography and performance work. I know little about hair but all the performance celebrities I know do not get to general salons.

I believe that Adam uses different hairdressers now because much of his hair needs are work related and he uses stylists who are experienced doing photography and performance work. Just last year my daughter who also is a stylist, in Ottawa, went to the Chateau Laurier in Ottawa to do Randy Bachman and his wife when he was presented with the Order of Canada. As an interesting side note, Randy Bachman[the Who, then Bachman-Turner Overdrive] lives primarily on the island I am on, and come to the salon where i work part time! Small world..... I won't belabour the point any longer...I promise...it is not that important in the grand scheme of things...but I really do know how this industry works...my home turf...  |

It is actually a interesting piece of the business that I did not know much about. I am learning a lot about hair and makeup because of Adam and fans who know more than me. I knew a bit about the fashion side of the business and something about the merchandising and licensing but really never realized how time consuming and important hair and make-up can be. |

ETA: If my memory is correct, I don't think there was an actual article written using her opinions on Brad and Adam's breakup, not even a ridic Examiner one, I think the info was just linked around Adam sites once it was posted on IDF. However knowing this fandom sometimes has boundary issues, it wouldn't surprise me if it was tweeted to Adam and/or Brad as well. Yay namecheck!
