It appears that Amalia is a big Adam fan - I have noticed that she keeps liking a lot of Adam's IGs. I don't see as much connection with Isaiah for some reason, at least not on social media. I've never felt there was much connection with Isaiah. I felt that even on the show. Just an impression... Now that I think about it, I agree.

He is an excellent vocalist and he is a classically trained tenor. (He is no Adam Lambert but he is good.) He had the biggest song in the world in 2017 -- and that is NOT the remix version with Justin Bieber, it is the original version. He is also a well-know Latino singer -- and 17% of the total U.S. audience, and 22% of the target age US audience (18-49) is Hispanic. It is certainly plausible BUT just because it is plausible does not mean it will happen. I'm sorry, but I sort of don't get the "Latino singer" and "Hispanic" thing. If I look at a movie, show, performance... it's because I like THE movie, show, performance, voice... I don't care if it's Latino, White, African-American, Asian (I apologize if I didn't get some of these terms right). I just enjoy a great show or performance. Because IF they both would be considered for a role and that guy is talented, but NOT as talented as Adam and gets the role - there is something wrong with it for me. I can't help it. unfortunately many facets of life in the US are driven by race imo... especially now... aside from that - I'watch ANYTHING just because my favorite singer is in it... same for fans of others I would guess...

Agree. Here in Oz Kelly and Adam are definitely the biggest Idol names. Carrie barely rates a blip. There is no doubt that Adam and Kelly are much bigger internationally than Carrie. She hasn't have much success internationally, tho, she has tried to break in recent years with tepid results. She even jumped on Keith Urban's Australia/New Zealand leg tour on his last tour. Called it co-headlining but he was the draw. Raised in Australia and born in NZ and it was his tour. But she is a headlining arena touring artist in the US. She moved to a new label where she hopes they can break her internationally. I don' think it will work tho. When Carrie does her US tours, is she always the sole headliner? I know that it is more common in country music to have a multi-act tour-, even with the biggest stars. I don't mean "opening acts" but acts that get co-top billing. Just wondering. I know Carrie is a major star in the US. I think a few country stars get pretty good support internationally, but it's not too many. I am not a country music fan at all, so I'm just curious.

Her tours are HUGE here! Big shows in arenas and usually sold out. Here are the stats from her last tour here. Impressive! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Storyteller_Tour:_Stories_in_the_RoundIMO, the Idol that is over rated, as far as music success goes, is JHud. Her Oscar is everything! Here is JHuds discography page en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jennifer_Hudson_discography

Carrie is the sole headliner on her US arena tours and they are bigger and more lucrative than any other Idols. On the Forbes list she has cleared (after expenses before taxes) 20m, 31m, 26m on three of her tours. Internationally when she did concerts in the UK there were about 10+ country acts for a festival that played to 15k. One tour there were about 6 acts in the UK (Tim McGraw and Carrie included) and they played to 5k. That same year Adam headlined in the UK and he played to 5k alone. So she cannot put up those numbers internationally. Will be interesting to see what the plans are with her new label but it seems she does not have a lot of pull or demand internationally.

True. I think it is more demographics, for ratings, for TV shows. Understood. It still makes me sad thought if it's not about the best, but about the right demographics. *sigh* (Especially if it's Adam related.)
